IMO the top foreigners are low GSL Code S level (Naniwa made the round of 16 three seasons in a row, I think). But Taeja is one of the top 10 players in the world. Taeja's multitasking is just amazing, even among Koreans. No shame in losing to him.

More like Taeja atm is low code S level and foreigners are maybe code A at best.

on topic: Happy Taeja won, at least now infestor ZvX snoozefest as finals now. No PvP finals is good as well :p

No way Taeja is low CodeS level. He just lost early this GSL, that shit happens, look at everyone that is even in CodeA right now. He made the Ro8 three times in a row or so before. Taeja is easily a Top10 player world wide.

Taeja is fantastic normally but he was definitely off during his games vs finale and polt but whatever bad shit happens to good players.

This sounds like Germany's answer to Carameldansen to me

...not that it's in any way comparable in terms of quality, I don't think I could manage a whole 10 hour vid of this, but point still standing

I dont think that argument really holds. Maybe if you look at the whole career, but then I think thats irrelevant. Its like calling huk the best because he won a bunch of tournaments in 2010-early 2011.

to be polite, NA tournaments are not that stacked

Well I agree to an extent (although I dont think WCS poland is any better than WCS Canada, basically 2-3 good players in each), But given that she has a winning ratio against Nerchio, I just dont like the argument that achievements are everything.

WCS NA is not tournament with high level competition, what other LANs has she won ? And fact that she has better ZvZ than Nerchio does not make her better player overall.

English isn't as melodic as italian so it would probably sound quite strange if someone attempted to emulate his style.

Khaldor casting in german was also always so much fun. He gets even more excited in german than in english (though I hate it when he calls mutaslisks "muten").

Khaldor kinda tries to do analysis and sometimes he screws that up though. The cool thing with Vasa is he doesn't give a shit about game analysis (even though he probably good seeing as he's Master).

master "knowledge" is totally different to pro knowledge btw

Well of course. I'm just saying, at least he knows the game to a decent extent, but it's not really relevant to the stuff he says.

Taeja hasn't been playing well the past 1-2 months by any standard. Had some wrist trouble or something?

Taeja is so good at being cost effective.

When people see his army getting crushed, they might think that he is losing. The truth is, that the opponent usually loses more in such engagements. After a while, the losses add up. This is exacerbated by his drop play.

I was blown away when Life destroyed at the GSL. I think the was the semi (or quarter) finals, and Life just dominated, but that play was just perfect.

Nerchio has nice mechanics, but here you can see the difference in how well these two players understand the game.

Foreigners are more like code A to be honest

way to generalize

Yeah, sure some are Code A, but it's a huge generalisation. Most are Code B.

Dude Code B Koreans are generally really good.

Lol no. Most players in Code B are better than majority of foreigners.
