The tournament admins don't know the rules and its RET that's unprofessional? Get a grip man, if i was playing in a tournament i would want to know that SOMEONE knew the rules.

God I have such a hard time appreciating this.

Imagine if instead of Ret it was Naniwa. The storm. The shitstorm.
Ret obviously know he's out because he's chatting during the game
That was madness! I love it :D
Ok, win percentage is gonna count. If Snute loses this game he is out.
Ret is the producer, director, and screenwriter.
Hellspawn, you've been supplanted.
Ret should have told us to follow him on twitter if we want the answer
I bet we can all read the conclusion on @liquidret.... fucking promotion...

Just play your damn game and sort it out in the end. To be fair the admins should have been able to inform the players before the game. It would be hardly fair to hand out a warning to a player when the admins dropped the ball

I would have to agree that Apollo and Incontrol are a really good duo.

What does it matter during the game? Is he going to throw the game if he's already out? He should be trying to win, no matter what happens next.

back... well I guess Nani advanced then
OKAY, Naniwa is through, right?!
If you say no, make your argument! If you agree, please tell me. Nani's internal map score of 3-2 CAN't be overcome according to me.

Leave this up to the tournament and just play the game the viewers dont want to see players pause every time they are confused about tournament setting or mlg would take weeks.
I agree with an earlier comment saying they should write a script solving this sort of situation. Shouldn't be too hard to do, if the rule itself is logically sound.

Ret paused his game against nightend after being down 0-1 and asked if he was out of the tournament already regardless of result in chat. Both him and nightend chatted for a while in chat while the game is paused. Apparently ret got an answer but refuses to reveal it while the casters also do not know for sure, the game resumes after that.
I am pretty sure Ret is out, even if he wins 2-1 he lost to both Naniwa and ForGG so he should be out.
I love this Dreamhack. Love Ret. Admins should have announced before the match, the rules should be communicated simply (aka for fools).
