NO! They should fight eachother in a deathmatch! That way there is no question who goes on!

Rules are simple, but hard to implement real-time by human brain. Liquipedia should have simple script written in JavaScript for this, everything would be crystal clear real-time. Casters having no idea what is going on is another story. They should at least grasp possibilities correctly.

No, according to rulebook: Score -> map difference +/-, head-to-head. There is nothing in there about maps won whatsoever.

The groups are decided in the following order: points, maps +/-, internal match. In case of a three-way-tie of the previous criteria internal maps +/- will decide.

I don't understand your statement - maps +/- and internal maps +/- are regarding maps...

I don't get how you can misread what I said when I said what the rulebook said, just stupider. Maybe brush up on your reading skills?

5-7 == 6-8 is what he's saying, because both are -2. Then it goes to head to head.

Oh yep, i understand

Well, he did play really bad, not like himself. The bitching is a bonus.

I think the actual bracket play will be a lot better. Some big names are clearly not playing at their peak in this group play, unfortunately.

So now they tell ret he can't win and he will lose intentionally, what a misadventure.

Naniwa owes nightend a beer to say the least.

Kinda bad when the admins have to gather to discuss what the actual rules means.... Yeah. Cmon sort this shit.
Afaik Ret is through if he wins 2-1 and Nani is through if Nightend wins. Fuck Im so confused lol.

Not true, Ret is out for loosing a map, most likely. It was last DH the case in similar situation. First difference in maps then head-to-head.

It was expected of them to pick the most convenient rule for Naniwa after all.
