Likewise with Fraer, he's 1 map ahead with a game to spare, a 2-1 loss will take him through but a 2-0 loss means STC will go through on H2H/More map wins

Pretty sure it was Lone star, against Crank

What happens if NIghtend wins vs ret with 2 - 1?

Weird how Naniwa doesn´t really preform well when he´s in Sweden each time

So the deal between them will be: whoever wins first game, gets the second for free. No incentives to fight past the first game.

Just score or Head to head -> scores? Mapscore then head to head. So ret can go through even after losing to the two players he's tied with. Wow... The best way to do it, IMO. Your advancement shouldn't depend on who you just happen to end up tied with. IMO, it should. What it shouldn't happen is that you end up not advancing because you didn't 2-0 instead of 2-1 the weakest player in the group. I guess we'll just disagree then. 2-1 is worse than 2-0 of course. Tying with player A or B is something you have no control over.

Even if Ret wins 2-1 he advances, as 6-8 (~43%) is better than 5-7 (~42%). Nightend needs to 2-0, then there's a 3 way tie.

making the last qualified played play all his games last seems like a pretty odd format -_-

If ret/nightend win the first game, the loser has no chance of advancing. It would be hilarious if the loser of game one throws game 2 in order to let their opponent advance instead of Naniwa. Obviously it wouldn't happen, but makes for a good conspiracy theory.
