Perhaps Waxangle can add it to the OP? ![]() He sorta had a breakdown in gaming terms against Nightend, went for lings/blings and after losing his whole army he 5 expanded all over the map, then didn't use the expansions and continued to make ling/bling and eventually lost after about 7 minutes of 'well he's lost already'. Edit - I don't see the big fuss imo. It's not made one bit of difference to anything in the end. Ah, gotcha. But didn't the community flip out over Naniwa throwing a pointless game in GSL? The community was mad that Naniwa DIDN'T just go for a random 4-gate and at least -try a little- to win. Ret didn't attack with his workers. There is no issue or comparison with the Naniwa scenario. Even without comparing it to Naniwa it was still an embarrassing show from Ret. He is a professional and gets paid to be one. People need to stop blaming the format and actually blame the played for not being professionals.

But now that Incontrol is actually in Sweden I think it would be a good time to make him pay for that promise. ![]()

Sounds like it since someone posted the Nazgul tweet about him wanting to contact ret before making a statement Well certainly it feels like a statement would be better than not a statement when Liquid is generally considered to be the awesomest team that has ever existed. Who cares? Ret wanted to know if he really had to put effort in this. At this point of the day I can hardly blame him this game is already stressful as it is.

Yeah but that was about not respecting "korean honor" which caused 2400 psychologists to make accounts on TL and diagnose Naniwa in these very forums. Although i took part in it too, that was quite awful.

I'd rather that I didn't have to read half the entire thread to find out. Thanks. Ret loses game 1 vs nightend. Game 2 starts. Ret pauses to ask about his ability to advance should he win 2-1. Game 2 resumes. Ret says he received an answer from the admins but refuse to say what it was. While game 2 is playing, Apollo tells everyone on stream that if Nightend wins 2-0, Nightend advances. If Nightend wins 2-1, Naniwa advances. Ret is out no matter what. (Apollo's source was DH admins) Ret goes for a ling/bling all in, smashes against natural ramp that gets forcefielded. Ignores undefended third. Nightend holds. Ret expands to 4 more bases. No drones. Nightend goes up to max food and kills Ret. Shitstorm on all forums because a lot of people think Ret threw the game, and caused Nightend to advance instead of Naniwa. This is where the 40 pages of spam comes in. Turns out Naniwa goes through despite Nightend winning 2-0. Ie, the result was decided by the end of the first game. Nightend had no chance regardless; Ret could only advance if he had won 2-0. Thus, dropping the first game meant that Naniwa advanced no matter what. (Now confirmed via numerous sources) Some people still mad saying that Ret should not have thrown the game regardless. Some others counter that Ret did not throw the game; he went for an all in, and it failed. He then just fucked around by going crazy expand instead of gging. Thanks for the info. Sounds it's drama over nothing then. Hopefully Ret is not too affected by this.
