I would be surprised if all the pro teams didn't already have access. Blizzard has already mentioned they want feedback from the Korean pros. Only problem is that since there is no exact timeline to switch, I doubt the top pros will put time into it. They might play a few games here and there to get a feel for the units. But they won't come up with build orders or strategy since it is still pretty far off with too many changes to come.

swarmhosts are kinda like brood lords in a way. Once there are enough of them no amount of ground units do anything. I think MKP had the right idea with the dropping, but you need to do more of it to abuse the fact that it's so immobile.

They don't fly tho, so tanks should be able to deal with them...sort of.

I told you guys it was Nestea/Jaedong/Effort misusing them. Granted, 28 in a game prolly won't happen but you see how it us when your fighting free units and then more come and they just wear you down.

idk, those swarm hosts can be burrowed pretty far away. those locusts have pretty long lives.

I think nukes might be a cool idea against a big blob of swarm hosts in front of your base. Kinda like with siege lines.

I feel like there should be some sort of window where swarm hosts are vulnerable, whereas in their current state, as soon as one wave of locusts die, the next one is spawned.

Maybe a 5-10 second delay between waves would make it more interesting, so that the terran can keep picking off swarm hosts in between waves.

There is a 10 second delay until you get the upgrade then its no delay. If you can kill the locusts off before the 25 seconds the you have your window. Or, you can do flank attacks or use air units. Keep in mind 28 Swarm Hosts is 5600 minerals and 2800 gas so I dunno how common it will be to see that many.
