Well yeah. But if you think about it every unit that's not a spellcaster basically just has it's range, damage, health and shoots/hits and does damage and that's it. The Tempest has 2 unique features, the range and massive bonus, which makes it more interesting than most. I don't get what people want out of it. Should it shoot archons or something?


It is the same deal with warhounds. It just seems like an a-move unit which hard counters other units.

P/S: people's comment about tempest makes sense. Micro oracle / ob for vision and tempest to snipe expensive unit can be fun.

i think it's the other way around, the range combined with the decent mobility makes it really boring. doesn't need any micro beyond target fire.


They suck vs a lot of smaller units since the fire rate is so low. And because they fire a projectile there is a lot of over kill. Once you hit 8 they will overkill if they fire on one target.

SC2 needs its unit countering to be a bit softer. for example, Marauders > Roaches is too strong a counter, same for collosi > marine, etc. you pretty much NEED vikings and corruptors against collosus, no amount of micro or macro can really overcome a competent player like so. softer counters would be better

nestea is basically saying new zerg units need burf.

skills are great but needs lot of microing due to slight delay.

Collapsible rocks right next to bases might just be the worst idea anyone has ever had...

so collapsible rocks on the third... that's so the zerg can choose between droning or make lings to put rocks on the enemy's third?

edit: or on his own of course for the S&M's out there. also good when you kill the zergs third, and the game is pretty much over, you can put rocks on his third again, making a comeback even more unlikely.
