It's not a lack of skill or talent or he never would've been one of the only foreigners in the Korean BW scene, more of a weak mental fortitude especially when it comes to "cheesy" or "abusive" play.

Idra couldnt compete with Koreans in BW. And there wasnt a foreign professional scene. Very few of the current top foreigners have a BW past, many come from WC3. Also the skillset for BW is a bit different. Idra is strong mechanically which was more important in BW. One of his other problems is that he is too predictable (which was said in BW already). He has his own view how the game should be and is very stubborn about it. (like he doesnt acknowledge cheese) Idra has to change his gameplan completely. He has to be way more dynamic. Scouting/reacting to "cheese/abuse play" and putting on aggresion himself (which he does almost never). He also has to work on his army control which is pretty bad IMO. If he can do that, I can see him being a top10 foreigner again. I don't think he will dominate the scene ever again. There are more talented players out there (Stephano, Nerchio).

Yeah, remind me which players have the least amount of tournaments to worry about? Which ones want as much exposure as possible because they're the new kids on the block? Which organization is playing catch-up when it comes to SC2, and want as much attention as possible? It was laughable enough when people were spouting crap about Koreans being better people than everyone else. Looks like Kespa is bringing in another tier of elitism.
