Terran wins = This Terran is better Zerg wins = Zerg OP is the current metagame in forums. It would take some time to shift this metagame. | ||

It would take some time to shift this metagame. This is very frustrating. When Mvp and Taeja won in the late game (dealing fine with infestor/Brood) all I read was how good they were. Now Symbol doesn't get the same credit because all the Terrans want to balance whine to make excuses for their own bad play. So sad | ||

I thought that was always a troll haha Indeed, Blizzard nerfed them to a single-spell nuke unit, (and by nuke I mean EMP), snipe is almost never used except against HTs. At the moment Terran is in a REALLY weird place in these matchups, it's pretty much like they have no late-game apart from improvisation. | ||

It's not surprising weren't you here when Zerg was UP and whenever Terran won it was Terran OP and if Zerg won it was Zerg is better/Terran messed up? | ||

The reason ghosts were viable with snipe was that they can actually snipe BLs from a distance and have tanks/marines protect them. If they are used just for anti-infestor, they basically need to run up and hope they get there EMP's off before they get killed by broodlings. And like Taeja pointed out, if you get a lot of ghosts to make sure you get EMPs off, an Ultra transition will kill you. I know a lot of us like to theorycraft how 3-4 ghosts can EMP the entire infestor/Queen ball and the terran can a-move their army to win. But seeing so few top pros use them probably means it is just not effective OR it is so difficult to pull off that they would take their chances with vikings. And if top koreans like Taeja, Byun, Mvp, MKP have problems using it, it is probably pretty damn difficult. | ||
