Haha, Life did a zergling/baneling all-in? I haven't seen that since his series against Keen in the TSL4 qualifiers, and that was essentially a joke series. Really cool!

Even so, it is not too hard of a job, it is just very hard mentally because most of them are teenagers. Right dude! Since you've been on a pro gamer on a Kespa team and all. In comparison to a athlete its not a hard job but putting up good results is. From what I have read, Kespa pros don't even have time for girlfriends much less friends outside the gaming culture because their always practicing. My friends in Korea told me that being a pro gamer on bw was harder than becoming a lawyer and I am sure that the opinion remains the same for SC2, especially since all walks of life play it (ex warcraft, bw, fps, etc pros).

I'm comparing being a progamer to kissing ass while you are 40 years old to keep job in order to feed 2 kids, definitely later one is harder. Becoming progamers is definitely harder though, there are just too few of them.

Not necessarily true, but it's very hard to balance the two (girlfriend and competitive Brood War). You are taking on two very serious commitments as an emotional teenager and any problem in one is amplified in another.

Hard doesn't only mean jobs are difficult to do, kicked around by boss all day is pretty easy to do, but more stressful than losing a GSL game. Let alone you win a GSL game once a while, for most jobs, you never win, no hope.

Let alone you win a GSL game once a while, for most jobs, you never win, no hope. For most jobs, all you have to do is be half-way to almost competent, and you'll get paid. For most jobs, you can keep your job separate from your life; once it's 5:00, just go home and banish all thoughts about computer programming, accounting, etc. from your mind. I'm not just talking about "losing a GSL game," I am talking about the entire progaming lifestyle, which, let's face it, is not all shits and giggles. Some people have easier lives, some have harder lives, and it's really not for you to decide which is more difficult. Some people are good with dealing with their boss's shit (e.g. my dad, who, yes, does have to get kicked around by his boss all day, but it has little to no impact on him), some people are horrible at it.

Be civil and logic, Idra, I know you can do that once, even though most people don't believe that. You don't want get banned. Oh, silly me, you are super citizen here, that will never happen.
What's so wrong about my argument, so do you really think your job is much harder than your father's, right?

Yay Taeja!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yay Life!!!!!!!!!!!
:D
MKP looked like he deserved to lose, was constantly being aggressive at bad times and playing super greedy against an aggressive zerg. Taeja vs Leenock scared the shit out of me, Leenock with BL/infestor/queen is terrifying.

ah.. poor marineking.. seems to be on the fritz.. great job taeja!!

Rain vs. Mvp and Life vs. Taeja?
The "worst" possible outcome is a PvZ between Life and Rain to decide a royal road champion. They also both play so different than most players of their race, it could be the best PvZ we've ever seen. The top four this tournament are the four best players in the world at this moment, so I'm excited. Crowd should be packed in next week.

Liquid back in the semis! Go Taeja!

You can't call a game when he played vs a zerg with a different play style then Life, Taeja didn't play bad but he didn't really need to play good, Taeja should have 3:0ed Leenock and that 4th game never should have existed.
If he didn't play bad then why did he look so unconvincing against an opponent he should have 3-0'd? I was favoring Taeja going against life before Ro8 matches (though I still thought life could win) but Taeja did not look like a GSL champion in that last series. I feel like he might need to pick better engagements against life. imo.
Also I don't think Taeja was holding anything back, what happens when he needs to play good?
