Not sure, I didn't follow everything in detail but it felt like Supernova caught Stephano's tech switch too late, expecting more ultras like on Ohana. The double spire and saving food for sudden mass corruptor of Stephano was really smart. It's hard to surprise a player with broods, but I felt he did a good job. | ||

Three games out of five were freaking jewels of Starcraft. The last one with the tense slow positioning and starving out each other almost felt like a TvT. But even more awesome. | ||

Supernova kept rebuilding his lost banshees afterall. At one point he built 3 extra starports cause he saw the corrupters with his hellions. But he didn't build an extra raven or two, maybe at that point he didn't have enough gas. I still don't have much experience vs lategame mech with ravens so I'm unsure how terrans usually transition to it from the midgame. It must be a lot smoother if you suspect BLs from the outset. | ||

I don't play terran, but from my experience watching raven transitions, it's not only the gas but the time it takes for ravens to reach a critical mass, both in number and energy. The successful raven transitions I've seen have been planned out in advance, taking several minutes before becoming useful. Not something you can do against a sudden tech switch. But I'm no pro and I'm only guessing, someone tell me if I'm wrong | ||
