JR is getting his infestation pit. 14:20 Keen starts his fourth cc JR taking down the rocks to his fourth. 16:00 Keen gets a cancel on the fourth while taking his own fourth with a planetary in the centre. 17:00 Keen clears the creep from the centre while JR takes his fourth again. JR has hive but his spire is late. 18:30 Keen is sieged in the middle and cancels the fourth again. 19:30 Keen moves into the third. JR gets an amazing fungal but doesn't have units to back it up. 20:00 Keen kills the third, JR takes a base in the bottom right main. 21:30 Keen kills the third and fourth. 22:00 Keen tries to tank drop in JR's main which is cleaned up by BLs. 23:00 Keen has 5 bases to JR's 2. 24:00 JR moves his army into the centre and cleans up Keens army. 25:00 JR doesn't have much of an army left and still has only two bases and ggs. Keen wins Keen 1-1 JonnyRecco ![]()

My personal theory is that Zergs bitch about it because it's a map with almost a 50/50 win split and they're used to a 60/40 in their favour. :D

It's really strong vs the ling/infestor into ultra style, and since most zergs go ultra first it's a kind of "counter" so to speak which means ultra's won't be as good when they come out and have 12 tanks with bio firing at them ![]() What kind of Zerg would notice that the Terran was tank heavy and not just go BL instead though?

The map halped him a lot here. He was basicly doing the 2/2 timing as a " must win now" thing, even with more bases behind it

I think casters really overplay how 'Terran favoured' Antiga is. Artosis was the first one I'd ever heard say it's hard for all races to take a 4th, rather than just trot out the old cliché that it's hard for Zerg. In fact I almost always see Zerg end up with a saturated 4th while I almost never see Terran succeed in taking and holding one. The middle is just so open that Terran's find it very hard to hold vs a solid Zerg who will generally be well onto Hive tech and 3/3 off of 3 bases. If the Terran does succeed in holding a 4th for a significant period of time it's Terran's game to lose, since this necessarily means that they have secured the middle (or the fourth would be mauled by Broods or Fungals) and can send out squads to deny expansions elsewhere from this position. It just doesn't seem to happen as often as casters implicitly claim. Also, Recco still sending his entire 200/200 army to deal with every 8 Marine drop that appears on the map? It really feels like a top level Terran would be exploiting this to gain huge positional advantages.
