It's obvious that Naniwa wasn't playing any good today. Whether this situation affected Nani only he can tell. What bothers me is that JYP thinks that touching a person is not disturbing especially when they need to focus. I know that Koreans have a different culture where it comes to physical contact with others but it's still quite rude to touch someone like that (especially when you're not close friends) and as far as I know JYP and Nani aren't even friends.
Would Nani have won if the situation never occurred? Most likely not. Did it bother him? Clearly it did. Was JYP at fault here? Yes.
For some people the idea of someone touching you and ruining your focus and tilting you is ridiculous. For others, however, it can do exactly that. It might be a bad excuse but in his mind it did really bother him and really that's what really counts in the end - his own state of mind and peace.
You dont touch people in Korea. Ever.
calling bullshit on this one, Korean male friends touch each other so much you would think that they are gay..
Not that JYP and Nani are probably friends or anything just sayin..
Anyway if its anyone's fault blame the tournament organisers, there should be admins around while players are playing competitive matches to ensure zero contact with the players, people touching them, talking to them ect.. If anyone is to blame its IEM
Having said all that... Nani needs to harden the f*** up
Ugh. I already corrected this like twice. And I was talking during competitions anyway.
Nani has hit the bloody jackpot in this tournament. No need to give to much thought on how you're going to deflect blame for losses when you can simply say someone touched you or a fly was buzzing around your head and people will come out and defend it

and what's all this stuff about JYP, lol? did he randomly touch naniwa during a game?
Yeah lol. Put Naniwa on SUPER tilt since Naniwa probably has a small comfort zone.
All swedes seem to have a small comfortzone, they just arent very outgoing people overthere, imo. They seem to to prefor to just sit at home, in there own fixed boundaries, where they feel very comfortable, it seems. It's probably why so many Swedes fail so bad, since they're really smart and got really great mechanics (I'm looking at you Thorzain!), they always seem to fail, and never play to there full potential. It's kinda sad actually.

I know your swedish but you should stop making stupid excuses. Naniwa lost and thats it. If a 10second touch influences 4 matches he has a serious problem with his mindset.
How is that excuse? Did you even read what I wrote? I'm talking about whether it's appropriate to touch someone like that during a tournament, not whether if the excuse is a valid one for him losing.
You indirectly said it. Especially in the last part. And now don't start a struggle about the definition of "excuses" because I won't reply to it. -_-

Day[9] is super competitive and he will tell you all the conditioning he has done to widen his comfort zone.
Room hot like 100 degrees with heat on. Room ice cold like 40 degrees. Shoes on. Shoes off. One shoe on. Chair up. Chair down.
The list goes on forever. Ironically this conditioning is one of the most important things to do in a tournament but very rarely do I see it discussed.
