The remaining five spots will be given out next week, on the 14th of August.
Players who are interested in signing up have to come to the ESL Office in Cologne and pay the sign-up fee of 50€.
If you are interested in signing up, here's a list to provide you with everything you need to know.
So people who show up at the ESL Office today between 17:00 and 18:00 will be able to get the last few spots.
OK, thanks. I wonder if people will sign up, playing a GSL Champion (or Puma/Bomber) is certainlyan experience, but 50€ is quite a bit.
I would hope a team would cover that sort of entry fee.
I think the reasoning behind it was that paying an entry fee keeps the players from changing their mind in the last second, not showing up and thereby messing up the schedules. They've got to give the players some sort of exhibitor ticket in order to allow them acces on wednesday, so if you have to pay you can make sure that no one is using the open bracket just for free admission on press only day... (Altough you'd have to be quite an ass to sign up just for the ticket, so I guess it is a pretty unlikely scenario anyways)
They made a pretty nice behind the scenes video, where you can see the venue and some of the production. All work in progress, but quite interesting. Good thing they have 2 stages again, so no switching between LoL and SC2.
