To be fair, that's a massive amount of chrono on a nexus if you're gonna 1 gate expo. Also, this is either some next level improvisation or some really big mindgames :p

He was thinking some sort of proxy (due to the pylon) but since there was only one gas it couldn't have been proxy tech, so proxy 4gate is kind of a reasonable guess.

Stim without Medivacs is awful in this kind of situation, the Protoss player can simply retreat (since most of your units are blocked by FFs) and your units just lost health for free. you act as if protoss has unlimited FF's lol. just use scv's as a buffer and dance around the ramp until you obtain a critical mass of bio. obviously don't over stim. your control just needs to be good but not great to survive. Not unlimited FFs, but this build is supposed to have many Sentries—more than Tails had. again. it's basic positioning and control which beats this build hard. keep well spread at the top of the ramp while using scvs as a buffer. remember if P has a ton of sentries, he's lacking real fire power and if he doesn't outright kill you the first commit. you're likely to win. 3 Immortals is not what I would call “lacking real fire power”. FFs easily separate SCVs from the rest of your army and they don't last long against Zealots anyway—and Zealots with +1 armor and Guardian Shield take only 2 damage from Marines on their armor. When executed correctly this Immortal bust is way scarier than what Tails did. I remember the times when this build was popular on ladder, there were so many posts in the Terran Help Me Thread asking for how to deal with it. People were losing even if they had 6 bunkers ready, etc.

Gumiho has to attack NOW if he wants to punish Seed.

I really want SeeD to take this

Gumiho had a ugly supply block right now. He might have tried to attack the third if it wasn't for that.

omg why sending whole army after one medivac?!?

Gumiho spawns as the (not so tired) blue Terran in the bottom left position. 2:00min Seed going for the pylon scout, doing a little bit of damage to the Probe building the Barracks Seed going for the Pause now. Khaldor tells us that Seeds earphone fell out (that warrants a pause?). Maybe Seeds Gas was a little bit late because of that. The game resumes. 4:00min Gumiho goes for 1-Rax Expand. Seed goes for a hidden Pylon in the 12o'clock base. 6:00min Seed builds his expansion Nexus while Gumiho builds a Bunker and a 2nd Rax with Tech Lab Seed is actually Double-Expanding, building a Nexus at his third base location while denying scouts with his Zealot and Stalker
8:00min Gumiho pushes out with 2 Marauders and 7 Marines without upgrades Seed scouts it with 2 Stalkers and a Zealot. Gumiho retreats but scouts the third Nexus with a SCV
Gumiho builds a Factory and adds a few Hellions while also building the Starport and Medivacs. Gumiho also builds a Bunker on top of his main ramp.
10:00min Seed goes for additional Gates and a Twilight Council with Blink research while Gumiho tries to drop 3 Helllions into Seed's main but gets scouted by a lucky Probe and that proxy Pylon. Gumiho also sets up an attack at Seeds third base.
Seed defends the Hellions with Stalker warpins and pulls all his Probes at the third. He loses his third Nexus but cuts off Gumiho's army and kills all the units.

That drop defense really did look like Seed was playing tired.
|
Seed loses his third, yet gumiho loses his army. Lets see if he can hold the counter. I don't think he can.

Why are people surprised by seed's build? It's parting's most standard build on daybreak, fast 3rd off one gate expand into high gateway count and psi storm.

Oh. Nice punish by Gumiho. Come on, Seed.

Man, Fatigue really showing in Seed's play..
