He could probably do it if seed wasnt jetlagged too, but now we won't know until they meet again. Maybe seed will come up the losers bracket so he can be knocked out properly by gumiho. Yeaaah, Gumiho's basically a player I think can best almost anyone at some point in time. He doesn't quite have that champion aura about him, but I can't think of any player in the world that would expect to beat Gumiho 9 times out of 10.

With a few Medivacs Gumiho is able to push Seed back. The Hellion drop is trying to get back in but Seed snipes it with a few Stalkers. 2 Hellions also try to run-by into the natural but Seed kills them before they can do any damage. 14:00min Gumiho attacks at the natural and at the third at the same time. Seed has his whole army at the natural and kills a lot of Gumiho's units with force fields but loses his third Nexus again. 16:00min Seed engages Gumihos army at his Xel'Naga watchtower but Gumiho set up a huge flank, killing a lot of Seed's army. Seed can push Gumiho back with storm now at his rebuilt third. Gumiho also goes for his 4th and 5th base now. 18:00min Gumiho is ahead on supply by more than 50 now. He tries to snipe the Nexus again but doesn't succeed. Seed engages Gumiho's army out in the open and with huge storms the fight is closer than expected but Seed still loses. A drop does damage in Seed's main. Gumiho snipes Seeds third for the third time now. 20:00min Gumiho is maxed against Seed's 100 supply and pushes into Seed's natural now to take the game! Gumiho leads the Bo3 with 1-0!

I'm not so familiar with Parting's play so I didn't know that that was his go-to build for Daybreak. Come on, Seed! Win 2 straight! Has Gumiho lost anything since the GSTL finals?

Do not remember whether it was Bumblebee or Treehugger that said that HerO might lose out on WCS due to scheduling conflicts but that they were working with Gom to resolve it. So we know that Liquid requested some kind of reschedule, it seems likely that IM simply did not. No reason why HerO would be while Seed would not if both teams requested.
