Yeah he's right. Ravens are so good in TvZ when you micro your marines/marauders around perfectly, keep your vikings from getting clumped, siege at perfect moments, and move around your ravens above the tanks while stimming, sieging, focus firing, and casting PDD + seeker missile against the impossible to play with zerg army of multitasking goodness.


Why would you need to micro your marine marauder around? I'm not seeing why you'd ever want to when you have your tank line set up to deal with the infestors. If you move any bio forward it's going to get fungaled and you'll die and seriously I'm a high platinum/diamond Terran and I have 0 issues splitting vikings. It's almost impossible not to. just have them set into 3 groups over seperate hotkeys and attack from different angles.

Namely that having sieged up tanks is terrible against Broodlords because the splash does a ton of damage to your bio when the broodlings come in?

Ryung played a beautiful late game starting by multi pronged drops + cleaning of the creep in the middle of the map he then transitionned into ghosts and nuking, and then got a MMT + ghosts/viking/raven mix spread between his 3rd/4th in which DRG blord/corru/infestor deathball crashed, with some cool HSM.

DJR's hive has finished, his spires not done yet, Major has started 3/3 and is sitting back to take a 4th.

Spire finishes, greater spire and ultrlisk cavern along the way along with 3/3 for melee.

i dont even remember ravens being a factor. it was the constant harassment of bases with small groups of MM and nukes that was giving DRG trouble.

... Move behind your tanks? I play Mech but seriously it's not that difficult. The broodlords broodlings will not do anything as they get killed as soon as they land (this is with hellions, I'm sure mm can do it to) and if you do that he'll never be able to walk his infestors in meaning you can snipe the broodlords with your spread out vikings and if the corrupters clump you PDD or Hunter Seeker them.

To be honest the entire composition needs fixed for HoTS. It's ridiculously hard to engage, especially over dead spaces and requires almost no control to use.

Thor drop kills a few Queens.

Major is pushing DJR's forward 4th base.

Good fungal on the hellions adn they all go down, Major kills the base but he's losing his whole army and DJR is maxed again with 7 more ultras on the way.
