Robo-Apollo on point.
In my mind, the predictions of casters in this tournament are akin to a deliciously amusing treat.
It seems to constantly have the function of: Foreigner has strong points, Korean has weak points. Strong points beat weak points. This is regardless of whether the weak points of Koreans are actually stronger than the strong points of foreigners.
(And yes, the is an exaggeration. But yesterday was also full of this kind of thing going on and it makes me smile).

It is the 'Hydralisk Symptom'.
Hmm. I don't think this will stick, but one can hope.

I've seen Korean terrans favour 3base bio more than reactor hellions and aim for mid game harass.

Nah lol must be imbalanced.

I'd bet a lot of them tried many new things only to find that hellions still work better than most bio openings if you want to apply pressure and have some map pressence. A lot of korean terrans still open with hellions too.

I don't mean the casters. On some websites there were writeups for the Round of 16, and they all said Kas would win because "he could handle Life's antics". In the matchup where Life uses the least shenanigans.

Kas looks a lot better in this game... Reactors, upgrades, third...

Kas doesn't scan for creep tumors. Very interesting! He probably thinks that with the amount of queens Zerg have and the creep spread getting better, it isn't worth it most of the time. Or is there another reason?

Damn if Life had only known those tanks were out of position it could have been 16 dead scvs instead of 6.

I guess it just varies, I've personally seen better results out of using 8 marines and a medivac to deny creep spread early on and set up a mid game push with a very fast 3rd.

That's pretty much a given.
