i cant help but feel that tvz needs a metagame change. is there really no other way to play this MU?
id love to see reapers make a comeback but i have no idea if they are viable in the least
Queen buff killed reapers, you can't even use them as an opener effectively any more.
Besides it's really more of Korean vs Terran and not Zerg vs Terran this series.

Kas isnt exactly thee measurement for perfect Tvz to be frank.

Foreign terrans are really struggling in TvZ...

i foresee new korean TvZ being taeja style he showed against losira and nestea
4 fast CC against 3hatches, then 10 more CC's into 170food unstoppable army with 30 scv's 15 reactored raxes making 30 marines at a time

Kas openings just do too little damage. I guess the macro style is just not working out.

Nope. I tried to get here at the end of this series!

I just don't know what to say about the "lets send 80% of my army in his base and defend with 8 units long enough", I think that Kas took a huge blow mentally speaking.
I do feel that the TvZ is turning a bit like PvZ, which is "killing the zerg before brooldord tech hits". Maybe I'm wrong, let's see how the next TvZ are gonna be.

Why people keep saying that Kas is a macro beast?
I coundn't see anything so special about his macro...He even floated a considerable amount of resources in some parts of the games.

A lot of korean terrans still open with hellions too. I guess it just varies, I've personally seen better results out of using 8 marines and a medivac to deny creep spread early on and set up a mid game push with a very fast 3rd. Sounds interesting, gonna have to try that hah. The thing about 8 marines and a medivac is that those 8 marines with stim will slaughter the queens and shut down the creep spread and when the zerg reacts with lings you just pick them up and return damage free.
are you referring to doing it after CC or before, rushing stim and medivac? first case rarely does damage, second trades creep kills for economy

Looks like startale will have a player in the RO4 unless Kas can pull something out of the bag (Could happen maybe life will repeat hyun and lol die to hellions)

I don't expect cheese because Life is pretty goddamn terrible at executing ZvT cheese, and he knows it.
Plus Life loves loves loves macro games on Metropolis.

foreigners are really struggling against koreans.

Not looking good for Kas. He puts up a fight, but he never appears to have the overall advantage. Life is setting the pace of the game.

Decent zergs just target down the medivac with queens and shut it down pretty easy I find with early medivac play.

Korean TvZ can be really really fun to watch. Foreign terran vs korean zerg, just a slaughter fest lol

Honestly if I were Life I would go for a 3h baneling bust or something super aggressive on a obvious 'macro' map.
