It was so transparent in the qualifier rounds such as when they focused 100% on Symbol's play and ignored anything Reality did in his massive upset. Basically every match they've commentated thus far is the same. I imagine there will be very upset Jaedong fans soon. The elephant argument is ridiculous in the sense that I will be shocked if any BW player rises past the play we've seen from Taeja recently but at the same time some are already at least on the level of "scrubs" such as Miya and Suhosin.
i noticed it, but i just ignored any deeper meaning, than that they know curious's play style more, and it seemed like curious was doing something unusual(with the bl in space and mass IT)? plus perhaps rains build is something very standard??

Their biases are just confirmational biases. They expect Symbol to crush any player they have never really heard of. It would be the same if he was a Code B Korean player or random foreigner. It makes the thinking process a lot easier.
I imagine JD will be interesting because both casters likely only know a few BW players and JD is definitely one of them. This should lead them to be a little less biased in favor of JD. So, I doubt we have anything to worry about.
I would like to point out that there was no real bias in this game. It was nowhere near what the Qualifiers were.

Well what you need to realize though is that kespa going star 2 pretty much puts their jobs on the line. GOM couldn't continue star 1 after 3 seasons thanks to kespa, and given how kespa will have free global hd stream and their level of games will probably be on par with gsl code s soon, gom may very well not be around in a year or two from now, which means that both khaldor and wolf may need to look for new jobs or even move out of korea.
I doubt it. Mainly because Kespa isnt really foreign friendly and pretty much depended on the korean audience. GOM on the other hand has relied on the korean audience and mainly the foreign audience. If Kespa wants to do anything to put a dent into GOM then they would have to be more foreign friendly. For SC2, that is.

I don't believe you. KPOP is what you are ALWAYS referring to.
That probe harass by Sun in Game 1 was crazy though. Seriously, if he gets more of his fundamentals down like control group assignments, et, he can put his multi-tasking to much better and scarier use.

Yeah this seems to be so wrong on so many levels - as if all of a sudden more popular/well versed casters will emerge and gom will vanish completely...
