KPOP is what you are ALWAYS referring to. I thought I made it quite clear not to mix the two subjects together

It was so transparent in the qualifier rounds such as when they focused 100% on Symbol's play and ignored anything Reality did in his massive upset. Basically every match they've commentated thus far is the same. I imagine there will be very upset Jaedong fans soon. The elephant argument is ridiculous in the sense that I will be shocked if any BW player rises past the play we've seen from Taeja recently but at the same time some are already at least on the level of "scrubs" such as Miya and Suhosin. Well what you need to realize though is that kespa going star 2 pretty much puts their jobs on the line. GOM couldn't continue star 1 after 3 seasons thanks to kespa, and given how kespa will have free global hd stream and their level of games will probably be on par with gsl code s soon, gom may very well not be around in a year or two from now, which means that both khaldor and wolf may need to look for new jobs or even move out of korea. Tournaments can coexist you know...
Agreed. I think we've seen Korean and foreign tournaments working together quite well together, cross-pollinating as it were with seeds earned around the world. Players can build a reputation in many different arenas now. While GSL may not hang on to the "undisputed premier offline event" title forever, I don't think it'll just disappear in a couple years, provided SC2 stays relevant in the e-sports scene.

The elephant argument is ridiculous in the sense that I will be shocked if any BW player rises past the play we've seen from Taeja recently but at the same time some are already at least on the level of "scrubs" such as Miya and Suhosin. Their biases are just confirmational biases. They expect Symbol to crush any player they have never really heard of. It would be the same if he was a Code B Korean player or random foreigner. It makes the thinking process a lot easier. I imagine JD will be interesting because both casters likely only know a few BW players and JD is definitely one of them. This should lead them to be a little less biased in favor of JD. So, I doubt we have anything to worry about. I would like to point out that there was no real bias in this game. It was nowhere near what the Qualifiers were. Yeah in this GOM v KESPA match they were much better than before. I just find the overt use of "outclassed" and especially in the middle of a game extremely offensive. I don't even think Tasteless (who coined the phrase?) used the phrase when MVP took out Suhosin. But that was because it the first series when Suhosin spammed roaches every game :p Tasteless coined the phrase outclassed? I highly doubt that.

Missed By.Sun vs Curious, how were the games? Was it one sided or did By.Sun put up a fight?

Imagine PvZ / TvZ lategame where terran/protoss just run and delay in hope of a meteor shower on the broodlords/infestors army !
We could ask Blizzard about that. Give ti the " Destructible rocks shower " name and stuff.

Sigh. Yep, they need to stop letting free idiots view the stream if they can't give out enough bandwidth for HD users.
