It's some good old fashioned schadenfreude, and I don't think it's completely uncalled for. i'm not shitting on anyone. the emphasis was on AS SOON AS THE SWITCH in my post. show me posts of many many people who said Jaedong, who probably still plays bw and plays sc2 for 2-3 months (numbers pulled out of my ass but you get the point) will beat alive in his first televised match in a sc2 tournament (with the new sc2 pros), a proven sc2 powerhouse who's been full time practicing for more than 1 year. did some people say that? ok, why are you arsing yourself with a few idiots? this question is not directed to you, but everyone who is drooling over Jaedong's (and the other kespa players') loss. do yo have to "shit on" bw players because they are not from planet Krypton and 67 guys on the forum thought that they are? where the hell is the logic in that? nowhere, u just like to flame others i'm not "shitting" on everyone, but this argument is not rational here, not at all. its about who can laugh and point at the other guys' adoration of certain players. is this really necessary? i know, futile question people could smuggle a little bit of rationality in the argument, not for the sake of respecting the other, but because wanking with a banana grin when a player loses is a stupid thing. and the rational part would be: is it likely that ANYONE who is the world's best at something will be the worlds best in an other, related thing, that has an active scene and hard practicing players AS SOON AS they switch over? NOPE Is it more likely that these switchers will be the world's best after they can practice for a while to catch up? YES, not proven, but the possibility is there and fanboys can fantasize about it so it's possible in the future, but not certain, nobody can prove it, and the present doesn't prove that it wont happen 2 months later. so tell me why isn't anyone who's wanking at Jaedong's loss here an idiot. because someone wrote an article about bw pros a year earlier? give me a break, probably 99% of those people already changed their minds. so the wankers just like to snicker about people who believed in something 1 year ago that is not true now? how stupid is that? the whole argument is idiotic and generates idiocy | ||
