Well, then TSL 4 is a low tier tournament because LaLush qualified for it.
Logic.

Like like 10 EU/NA only open qualifiers...

Or it could be that Lalush would have looked much better against somebody else in the tournament, but not Curious.
And Lalush qualified from one of the easier brackets, through points mind you.

Then he's no so low-tier after all, right ?

And a lot of good players didn't qualify through points. What does that change ?

Did I ever say he was? Naww...

Them NAs need to bash as much as they can, since the only one from across the ocean who made it was a mexican practicing in korea.

Seems so. Incredibly retarded comments about low-tier TSL 4 qualifiers and no ggs BM are surprising me today.

How is Ret's ZvP nowadays?

I really want him to win, but Squirtle gonna be tough.

Lalush did qualify so he must be pretty good, but there's obviously a huge gap in skill between him and Curious. Not the best bracket luck for him.

Nah, I think Lalush would have had troubles against pretty much anyone in TSL4, he's the weakest player here imo.
Also, Vortix got an awesome ZvT winrate.

Am i the only one that prefers visual clarity to "higher" graphical settings, post processing, depth of field etcetc in esports?

Almost all pros put their graphic settings to low when they play.

All you need is to be able to see what unit is warping in from a stargate (sometimes gateway), other than that super settings will only run the risk of lagging you when you're fighting a maxed army

He still throws away absurd numbers of units but he seems good against the 2 base all ins.

Varies from day to day. But he's generally very solid, really good against all but the BotB

My question is, why dont tournaments? It seems to be quite widely agreed that low focus with maxed textures and effects gives the best clarity, performance, etc, and with everything maxed and health bars not permanantly on makes things very confusing and painful without those few high level observers

Yeah, his lategame is horrible if you pressure him at all it seems, but he's got a fantastic understanding of the midgame timings.

Oh please. Lalush is not a top EU player by any stretch of the imagination. That doesn't mean I'm calling him bad, but he's not Nerchio/Mana/Naniwa/Thorzain/Stephano level.

Lots of people like the graphics and fancy death animations. If Inception or DKR was cartoon, would it be better for the viewers?
