Just shows how many fanboys stephano has really. If Stephano wasn't in the loser bracket I would have voted for him, but he was in the losers having to beat Oz with an Extended series, but also needing to beat Alicia coming from the losers. Chances of that happening was very slim. Taeja got my vote.
He just won NASL.
The odds on pinnacle for the Oz-Stephano match were even, despite Oz` advantage.
It was a fair assessment to say Stephano would win (I didnt pick him), not only for fanboys.
And its easy to say the contrary afterwards.

He did Mutalisk vs either MC or Alicia, I'm sure I saw some ultra vs protoss during NASL and the zerg won, not sure if that was Stephano though, the games all kinda molded together after about 20 PvZs.
And do you go yelling at terrans for going marine/tank or always Bio vs Protoss? using roach/ling and either attacking or teching is the standard for zerg.

I didn't say he went for a 200/200 Roach smash. I said his style is identical every game.

Yeah, I agree. But that doesn't mean that Carriers are bad. It's rather that the amount of Stargates and Upgrades and build time you need, while you are also maxed so it's hard to just start them from a few stargates.
In the particular scenario, when Protoss has a lot of ressourcen in the lategame (you don't even need a leed, just survive until you are set up), they do already work.

Oz had a stigma against his PvZ ever since Curious wiped the floor with him in the Code A finals but it has always been fairly good. He just has had some consistency issues lately, especially when he has traveled overseas. I don't think he has ever done well at an MLG he competed at. Usually open bracket losses although he was in Pools last time so I guess that was good
