I don't know how anyone votes PuMa. He only looks good vs most foreigners, the rest of the time he's really mediocre. Sorry to break it to you but Puma has a winning record vs hero so not sure how you can name him and not puma. They played each other at like 5 diffrent tournments, 4 forgien and 1 in gsl, hero only won the one at dreamhack i belive. And calling him medicore is deluded, you must not watch much sc2. Hahahah LOL, I've watched SC2 since king of the beta . I'm sorry to break it to you but head-to-head record says nothing about a player's skill level, we're talking about a broader idea here. Puma has decent results in foreign tournaments, good results were a LONG ass time ago, while he has no results at all to speak of at GSL, lately he got completely dismantled by MC. while usually their matches went very close, which speaks of a lower progression of his skills. Overall, puma is nothing too special, average korean terran I'd say. Around Keen level maybe? Keen is probably a bit better though. Which is not bad by itself. but nothing worth highlighting. Did not mean to upset you, and going by what you just said ill stick to my comment that you're deluded. Sounds to me you are just a hater though, pointless argueing with someone like that, so i will not go into the whole GSL results thing. Oh and head to head record DOES mean something when its not a mirror match up, espically when they faced each other 5 times lol. Again sorry if i upset you, did not expect you to rage. Sigh.. I'm not even close to being angry, I never rage over internet forums. And it means nothing because PuMa beating Hero doesn't mean he's a better player, it means he won those matches, nothing more. Particularly considering it's PuMa's best matchup vs Hero's worst matchup. It doesn't give a correct approach at the player's skill level. People have overrated PuMa's skill level from the first day he appeared, he was very good at TvP in the 1-1-1 period, and that was it, he's nothing spectacular. The poll is asking which is the best KR in the list. I have no doubts both Taeja and Hero are better than Puma. Top Koreans like MKP disagree with you

Oz was in a decent position. Then missed 4-5 FFs. There's no way you're able to attack a ling infestor army while missing FFs without colossi.

yes, that should not have happened with perfect ffs. He might have been looking away for a split second.

wtf happened?! Oz was holding every single attack so beautifully and played such an amazing new style, then he misplaces to ffs and hes dead? I cant comppute what happened in this engagement, wtf ?_?

One does not simply beat Stephano in ZvP

Not that good forcefields from Oz and a-move from Stephano...
Are you kidding me? oz took the third really fast, but get outplayed

Saying Stephano of all zergs a-moves is the wrongest thing you could say. He's one of the only that micros his "non-micro" units like lings and roaches that well.

The onus was completely upon Protoss to hold that with good FFs, and Oz just screwed up bigtime.

No 1-1-1's. Straight up play and Puma won with remarkable TvP.

heh, Idra's commentary about this is so different in style than Day9+Artosis'.
Idra said that Oz should have taken a fourth and tech to mothership to win easy, but that he would lose if he pushed

If anything Puma is underrated, he doesnt get enough credit for his play, but yeah lets just agree to disagree, its like talking to a wall with you. Probaly one of those EG haters. Which makes you pretty damn angry IMO.
EDIT: Even people in this thread are telling you how wrong you are, stop being stubborn. Top pro's use him to pratice for a reason, and they sure as hell know more about the game then you do.

Thats hurt ...

One thing the really didnt point out was the Steph was really ling heavy, only had maybe.... 10-15 roaches? That was mostly ling/infestor, and ling/infester rapes stalker/immortal/sentries unless theres perfect FFs. Theres nothing killing the lings.
|
I know the missed FFs decided the game, but I don't know if there's any non-MC Protoss who can keep his cool consistently under so much pressure.
|
Protoss in this thread: OMG you make big micro mistake and just lose!
....Theres a problem with that? Alright.
|
Guys, Stephano really didn't do anything special there. He attack moved into Oz, and Oz misplaced two forcefields by a bit, letting lings through. If Oz had forcefielded well, Stephano would've just pulled back and lost 20 lings for his trouble.
The impressive thing isn't the execution, which is piss easy, but that he actually tries to do this, unlike very other Zerg on the planet.

Funny LR. Half the users are writing "lol forcefields, gg", the other half "Stephano too good, omg".
