The metagame is surprisingly moving towards less and less scouting... previously everyone scouted in TvTs and PvPs, now a lot of players skip it in order to get the extra 40 or 50 minerals or whatever it is. Scouting is a way to definitely stay safe, against someone like Rain they should really be scouting, but if you're playing MKP in a ZvT probably no need since it's almost 100% guaranteed 1rax cc or cc first (exploitative play)
i dont think skipping scout is a good thing to do unless ure code S or so. You can still be annoying with drone, and i dont know ... its part of the basics of rts ^^

I love puma. I wish he would get good again =(

I dont care about it in sports, and I dont care about it here. I am only interested in the games. You clearly don't know what the aftergame analysis is actually for, it's productive time filling to give people the time to set up the next game. If it wasn't there there would basically be a commercial break. How people fail to recognize this and would rather want they didn't do it boggles my mind. That's why we need Kpop! Every Single Break ! to pay MLG for membership to view the games and suffer from k-pop? hell no. why would anyone do that ? o_O you don't need to pay this time around...

Tough way to lose ... Roof, I will cheer on you from now on! Why you root for a greedy bad player? No scout FE? Hat 1st? Glad RAIN one. smart move on his part. Bad Z is Bad Being greedy =/= being bad It does when your so greedy you don't scout. Seriously, Artosis saying "Won't be surprised to see him come back to the next MLG"..LOL are you serious? Plays the inferior muta style with super early 3 hatch and miscontrols them in game 1, takes sick damage from 2 banshees but wins with hive tech in game 2, and loses game 3 because he can't be bothered to drone scout. I understand greed =/= bad if you are careful and methodical with it, but come on this guy just cut corners all series.
Wouldn't necessarily call muta style inferior, a lot of Korean zergs in particular are transitioning back to this style on certain maps because it's just so good. Idra is also transitioning back somewhat.
I do agree he didn't have the best control at all, but he did play pretty well so you never know.
And better players have lost games due to not scouting as well - MKP lost two games in a row to HyuN 6pool/7pool

Yes, Daisy is a Korean Protoss Player living in Europe. Golden is a Korean Zerg player living in the USA.
Daisy made his name (or at least caught my attention) during a TSL4 qualifier. He also played against Stephano at DreamHack (lost). He is a member of ESC ICYBOX.
Golden was top of NA GM ladder and was 6 pooled by Stephano on Stephano's NA ladder run bet with InControl. Stephano apologised for the cheese. Golden was a member of team Light but recently left them I think. He was living with KawaiiRice (and may still be doing so). Golden recently attended HomeStoryCup and came second in the GIGABYTE E-Sports Lan. He used to be on Team Slayers.
They are both young guys about 17/18.

i have to say after NASL i love me some tvz

It's funny how some zerg rage on all early game pressure and cheese. It's like old BW "10 minutes no rush games". Just don't play greedy and you are safe.

WTF Cyto sucks.... wish they had stream'd that game. I don't believe it. Sheth lost to Sasquatch too, which surprised me because me and my shitty play have a 2-0 record against Sasquatch in ZvZ -_- Honestly with ZvZs though a lot can happen, maybe there was a 10 pool all in or something, I'd be interested in hearing what happened.
Random ladder game != prepared tournament game

I believe you are thinking of Sleep for a former zerg that recently left his team (checksix). Golden is still on Light afaik

Daisy used to be a Prime B-teamer that used to stream a little but never got any recognition. He went to germany to try his luck.

Bad Z is Bad He's a foreigner who prepared interesting builds for the tournament he isn't as good mechanicly but has a verry interessting and unique style. Nothing new or unique about Greedy sorry, don't buy it.
Ok tell me one other player who has done the ZvT build he did in game one. Greedy is not bad these players play to win not to appeal to you Rain cheesed in game 3 do you prefer cheese over greedy play which leads to macro games?

Damn, that was a sick pressure from Daisy. Unfortunately his macro slipped though .

I really hate TvT... But I actually love the ultra ultra late game with all vikings, ravens galore (bc's too)

Just look at all the "Who is Welmu/Snute/Daisy/SortOf/Roof/etc?" questions in this thread. MLG definitely bring out the most casual SC2 viewership.

Wasn't ladder that I played Sasquatch in (arranged matches), but that wasn't the point.
His decision making in ZvZ, to me, was just terrible as the game progressed each time.

Why would they not mention the double armory, and other factory going up obviously indicative of mech on a very good mech map?
