13:00 third by ace, down 70 supply.

14:00 maxed shine attacks in with a massive drop into Ace's main, while more units hit the third. a LOT of FFs trap the roaches but Shine remains maxed


15:00 shine moves into the natural, kills ace


Oh lol. All I read is Ace, Ace, Ace and then suddenly maxed shine attacks GG!

Down 70 supply was the subtle clue

Ace was the one attacking :p. They actually miscounted the gate count, he hit with 6 but it was deflected with roaches and lings because ace warped in too many stalkers too early. forgive my atrocious spelling. After the attack failed, both players kinda just macro up and then shine kills ace

Nah hydralisks are great as long as your opponent agrees not to build anything but gateway units. Oh shit lol good engagement for Shine big time.

Awesome job Juliette.
I am just such a zerg fanboy that I was getting worried reading the first 11 minutes going into ace his favor.

I was thinking of a 4gate +1 on the 8 minute mark. Which is pretty devastating if done right. And unless you are ready P can take a free third, and crush your delayed max roach attack. Or any attack.

7:00 Phoenix out of the SG, robotics down in the other corner of his base. Ace is hiding the phoenix, lair, evo, roach warren coming now.

8:00 Phoenix move out, zerg +1 range researching, the phoenix kill some queens but one dies to a spore. They kill some drones, run out of energy, move on.

10:00 Ace adds robotics bay, extra gates, +1 armor since there's no TC. Shine adds hydras and a spire. Colossus are already on their way, and some zealots harass some hydras

11:00 Hydras find some phoenix, the phoenix kill a hydra. Meanwhile Ace takes a third.

12:00 TC now, phoenix keep looking for things to kill: there's 5 on the map. Corruptors are out, +2 zerg range almost done, lots of roaches and supply is 174-144. Shine attacks the third, FFs zone the ground army and phoenix fight off corruptors for a little, but focus fire kill the colossus and Shine has a concave. Blink is not done yet.

It's a mind-game tactic. Opponent sees a Hydra den, and thinks "shit, this guy's got a hidden base somewhere. There's no way he could be this reckless on a 3 base economy."
