Or maybe they are having a period of dominance in a very specific area (team league) that is expected in an asymmetrical strategy game.

Its sad, TvZ used to be best mu few months ago... ZvT was ridiculous for like 1 year, well, at least more than 6 months. After Terran suffer for 6 more months, then we talk. Until then. When republican wins presidential election, democrat has to wait for 4 years. Zerg lost election when the game came out, so they waited. It is Terran turn to wait now. If you are democrat, don't you think republican winning president for 40 years is unfair and rigged? You're an idiot. Anyone with more than 2 brain cells should know 2 wrongs don't make a right especially when Terran has been nerfed into the ground and yea, it was definitely balanced for the most part pre-patch and TvZ was the BEST matchup to watch/play. It's like saying that it would be correct for them to change it so in TvP a Protoss has to stick with gateway units against Thors,Battlecruisers,Ravens and Ghosts. We should be working towards a more balanced game, not tit for tat. Stephano never had a problem with early pressure and nor did any of the professional Zergs which is supposedly what the guys at Blizzcrap are trying to balance the game for. Maybe we have different philosophy. You think Step1.60-40 Step2.55-45 Step3.50-50 is the way to balance. I think Step1.60-40 Step2. 40-60 Step2. 50-50 is the way to go. Also, you think it was 50-50 before patch. I think it was like 55-45 before patch, so it is 45-55 today. It is like depression is necessary so that bad companies go out of business. Both sides should experience bad times at least once. ..nnnnope. Absolutely no need for it.
What? What's the link beetween corporations business and the balance of starcraft 2????? And no, it is not 45-55 today. What's the rationale behing that the other side should experience bad times? It doesn't make sc2 balance better ._. all you're asking is an eye for an eye

Explain to me why having to put on pressure is a bad thing. That's not the problem. The problem is the old pressures don't work and we have yet to work out the new ones. Regardless, take it to the balance discussion thread, and I'd recommend being more impartial; to use exaggerations and say that terran can't do 'anything' just obscures whatever validity your concern may have had and makes you sound like a whiner.

I agree with this but people have to admit there is an issue when winratio in a certain match-up is around 30% and all Korean pros(not foreigners, like Idra in the past for Zerg) are stating how ridiculous a match-up is.
I think everyone who is watching SC2 at the moment can see a problem as it's not possible for a Terran to keep up with Zerg, nor is it possible to do any early game pressure. Funny example of this would be Symbol vs MarineKing in GSL recently, where MarineKing was being flamed for being greedy with a 14cc while Symbol went two hatches before pool and it was called "standard" and MKP couldn't do anything to prevent it.

Ouch, will NASL just invite the next two highest seeds or something that didn't make it past ro16? A 6 man tournament would be atrociously bad.

No, the players they eliminated (TT1 and Sen) in the Ro16 will go.

I'm relatively (but not entirely) confident that it'll work itself out. I wouldn't lose any sleep if Blizz did a u-turn on the queen range though.

Only when players are hard pressed, new strategies come out. A race that is having relatively easier time would not have to deveop strategy as much. In order for both sides to refine strategies, bad times are necessary for both sides. At least that's how I feel. I would be lying if I say I have no eye for an eye attitude, but I truly believe hard time is needed for all 3 races. Ghost nerf and queen buff are both too much I feel, but because of these, Terran strategy development started to be so much more serious. Zerg basically had to abandon mutalisk entirely after about 1 year of strategy development, Terran has not reached that level yet, I think.
