Stephano is playing super bad, like 70% of his actual strenght I don't even know where to start, I mean... Favorite Players: Stephano Oh nvm that explains that. Watch the game if you believe stephano deserved to win that you're out of your mind.
Puma played better overall in that game but Stephano also showed that he is just a level above, he pretty much won the game early, let Puma back in by playing bad and then crushed him again when it mattered.

Maybe there is an achivement to win vs terrran without building spire whole game and Stephano is trying to get it.

Agreed, he was 3/3 before Puma even started his 3/3. He was way ahead after the first big fight but once Puma was sieged with his PF at his fourth, it was really hard to fight properly (because ultras are way too fat )
anyway, Stephano did throw a lot of units but in the end fungals won!

So those Queens. Lords of the Dance

Hmm Stephano doesn't like the 4-6 queen opening but it would've helped him out here a lot.

I'm not sure what to say of that final engagement, but in my years of watching bw and reading LR threads, I'venoticed people tend to overestimate harass damage. That's like a bias many people seem to have, me included.

stephano still ahead on supply after that attack :3

Zerg ahead on supply in ZvT while making roaches to defend a teching Terran? Who'd have thought it.

What just happened there? I was sure that third was dead.

Was Puma attacking the destructible rocks at one point with one of the banshees or am I blind?

Come on, we need the zerg tweak already! He played well but he didn't play perfect. When he had the advantage he should have either expanded or attacked. Stephano was ahead on bases. Toward the end puma basically only had 1 mining base and stephano was banking. Killed all puma's stuff remaxed. Puma didnt move out cause he didnt want to lose that middle base.
This mostly. Stephano contained PuMa to 4 bases and traded his units for PuMas tanks all the time, so PuMa could never move out and never had the tank count to defend a 5th. If you rewatch all the attacks, Stephano always moved in, focussed tanks, ran away once they were dead.
Without tanks you just can't take a 5th so Stephano knew sooner or later PuMa would run out of resources while he had twice as many bases. As a side effect it also prevented the PuMa from fortifying the center.

hopefully idra will realise that it is never over until it's over, but i doubt it

I just gotta thank Teevox.com (Warpprism stream) for an amazing site. It really shines at these tournaments, thanks for the site and great functionality - whoever is responsible, awesome job!

Basically infestor/ultra is a comp that can result in unlucky angles where you trade really inefficiently so not trying to secure an economy cost Puma the game. Maybe a PF at the five o clock main with drop reinforcement would have been safe enough.
