Just make 4 fewer Medivacs and you have the gas for cloak upgrade and Academy. It's basically the same exact infrastructure as we use in TvP - mass rax, no factory tech to speak of, reactored ports for viking spam. I think it's a nonsensical statement to say you can't afford 3 cloaked ghosts with that style before you hit food cap. He was but i was talking generally. You If Z doesnt go for ground based play and goes for realtively fast blords instead (which are pretty much free if you go for immediate 3 OC and relatively fast 4th). Its not the case. You have factories and couple of starports and barracks mainly just to produce marines. So setting it up takes too much time and its not very worthy unit in the general T late-game"ish" composition.

But I'm not talking about the normal tank/marine composition, I'm talking about the style DeMuslim used in the matches we just saw. Obviously ghosts aren't viable in tank/marine styles. Tanks are the anti-infestor tech in that style.

Early aggression with medivecs before infestors are out. "Late" tanks. Keep the zerg not too big and prevent a lategame. If Broods are out, try to split and avoid a big fight unless you have enough vikings. This morning, Sculp vs Symbol on Metalopolis.

But still i think that bringing ghosts would hurt him more times than give him advantage. As he almost never utilizes them in TvZ if he goes for this spesific style? Or i havent seen it.

Z just has to sit back, build drones and macro up - pretty hard to die to any timing with ur creepspread and 6 tanky queens out on the map always while having the ability to build 30 units per circle ye, so are 10 other european zergs for some reason ![]() You must mean because Terrans haven't adjutsted to the metagame yet, right?

You have to appreciate that the UK scene is small and everyone is a fan of everyone, so we're not exactly super hyped to see Ziktomimi beat JohnnyRecco because everyone is a fan of both players. If this was an international tournament where Ziktomini just beat a Korean or Stephano etc.. then the crowd would make a lot more noise. In a larger scene like Germany, USA, Sweden etc.. I imagine fans have much stronger favourites for one player over another. Also outside of football matches English people are usually pretty reserved and don't really go for big public displays of emotion.

As he almost never utilizes them in TvZ if he goes for this spesific style? Or i havent seen it. Well he's only been doing it for a few weeks as far as I can tell. And also, I just don't think there's any way three ghosts can hurt him in any significant way. He was on a solid 3 base economy, and had craptons of gas in Medivacs. Even if you reduce the infestor count by 20-30% that can turn the tide.
