With the queen buff zerg can just keep spreading creep so much that it keeps them safe from nearly all attacks, be them helions, banshees or the rare 2 rax.
Polt also couldn't do drops for some part of the game due to the possibility of mutas denying him, or the huge vision that the creep spread + overloard spread offered.

More like calculated risks, lots of which are now easier to scout by zergs thanks to the speed buff to overlords.
Not saying you shouldn't do anything but its far, far far harder to do anything now to zergs because of the buff, and its too much of a simplistic view to say that you need to do something when you get demonstrations of force like that from LosirA and Yughio.

Perhaps you can point us to a game where a zerg did something similar but got shut down before you go out of your way to call someone an imbecile.

Of course it is harder, that's the main point of a patch isn't it? To make games balance? You might think its balance to have hellions burn 20+ drones with just 4 hellions but I can tell you, in the eyes of blizzard its not. And rightfully so.

From what I've seen only zergs that failed to defend properly or where too greedy had 4 helions get past their defense and roast 20 lings. Matter of fact is the helion pressure was somewhat of a necessity, not to roast drones, but to do indirect damage, keep creep under control, slow down a 3rd force roaches and/or lings instead of drones.

decent zergs could hold anything without any problem with the 3 range queen, now worse than halfdecent zerg could hold anything. now imagine what could a good zerg could do with it.

There must have been 0 decent zergs before the patch then. There was no zerg that could easily hold anything.

there was the kind of a zerg who made only drones and 2 queens and 6 lings againts 4 hellions. thats not enough. 4 hellion was a pressure desinged to slow down zerg on their insane mentality to get 90 drones as soon possible.
if the zerg was careful enough, good simcity (which terrans do all the time) blocks his entrances, made enough units, he couldnt lose againts 4 hellions.

They couldn't lose against them but they could have their third delayed forever and get 0 creep spread until the helions are off the map. That was way too much dmg for a 400 mineral investment that terrans would never lose if they were careful with. Zergs just had their worst GSL season ever. They needed a buff.

Agreed that they needed a buff, but +2 range is too extreme, and it wasn't even properly tested before it came out. A range of 4 would have meant both Zerg and Terran had to work to do their work, both zerg and terran would have had to rotate damaged helions or queens in and out to prevent them from dying (at least until zerg got a big enough number of queens), zerg would still have had the means to defend their bases and creep spread, but they would have had to work for it, while now terran has to work a lot for little gain.

4:00 Speed for losira, before symbol even has a gas. Both have queens making, and symbol takes a double gas. Symbol's overlord is caught by a queen in the middle of the map!

6:00 Baneling nset for losira, and a faster lair, though it is scouted.
