I think that's clearly a tell that you can afford to play super greedy. Losira played very smart because he knew exactly the way Polt ALWAYS plays. Polt is very solid but also very predictable. | ||

I'm not sure... but with that insane of a creep spread, I'm not sure Polt would have been able to land any of CCs at any expansions. And he did get 3 or so extra CCs after his 3rd. Just couldn't land them anyway due to the insane creep spread. I don't play Terran and mostly watch pro games anyway, but the issue I have is that TvZ wasn't really that imbalanced prior to the patch and was actually the best match-up in the game, and Blizzard makes such a HUGE change (overlord change was ok, but Queen change was HUGE) and you're actually really seeing its effects in every TvZ. Terrans are having trouble pressuring early while Zerg suddenly have so much more map control and scouting with the insane creep spreads in EVERY TvZ. And when it gets to the late game also, it's been evident for quite awhile that Zerg's lategame with their ability to tech switch is better than Terrans. Terrans have to do some pressure early and mid game to stay even with Zerg, but Terrans currently haven't found a solution to continue to do it. | ||

Of course it is harder, that's the main point of a patch isn't it? To make games balance? You might think its balance to have hellions burn 20+ drones with just 4 hellions but I can tell you, in the eyes of blizzard its not. And rightfully so. | ||

I agree, despite the fact Polt couldn't pressure for a long time, he had really good engagements and did tons of damage, he could have won the game if he either, defended the run by or if he had scouted and denied the top bases of LosirA. This is why I believe that no matter what you always need to keep helions alive and to actively use them to scout and maybe catch sneaky bases. Though it probably would be hard to scout the map when half of it is covered in creep. | ||
