god i fucking HATE it when a player is behind in a game and behind in a series.

it just makes me lose hope completely.

Yup, because there is no observer involved in this build

I'm not talking about the roaches being invisible I'm talking about moving past the forcefield.

And then the stalkers just stand there and kill all the roaches as they trickle slowly through a narrow ramp?

In all fairness. 5 roaches as static defense stops this build.
I had a good night of sleep.

Fuck this strat, the timing is too short for zerg to react to and its way to advantageous for protoss without any set backs

He saw the robo and his saw blink researching. He should have been more prepared in his main. Even if the Robo built an observer rather than a warp prism blink stalkers into the main was a possibility and he really should have stayed defensive for that. It's not as imbalanced as people think it is. 6-10 roaches in the main would have been sufficient.

6-10 roaches would not have come close to holding all those stalkers unless TLO immediately knew to target the sentries immediately. That would be the only way I could realistically see 6-10 roaches working, if he eliminates the FFs (baring the first, the first FF WILL go up. No matter what you do the first goes up)

Even if you manage to target down the Sentries, he can just warp in more as needed with the Warp Prism once the Roach group has been killed. Unless the Protoss screws up, I really don't see how it would be held once it's in your base. o_O

Combination of a lot of lings in your main with a good overloord coverage so you see the thing fly in. That's what you'll have to do.

If you have units in the main he enters the natural, if reverse then other way around. If you have units in both he just kills your third, ffing the path to the third. It's like the ultimate lose/lose/lose scenario.

It won't work, going that tech means saccing economy for tech. If a protoss player goes for the normal 7 gate all in, you will lose. If a protoss player goes 2 base 4 gate plus 1 zealot all in, you will lose. Its not viable dude.

Did you watch the game? TLO scouted the twilight council, the robo and the gates. He saw pretty much everything that went on.

Which is unfortunate because TLO should've been able to prevent that if he had kept his lings in his main base.

Prism wouldn't have been able to drop any sentries.

what do you expect? foreigners casting a game with a foreign team in a primarily korean tournament...

It might sounds strange to you but I'm interested in playstyle and gameplay, not the race of the player.

my point is that if you compare it to traditional sports it's exactly the same. whenever i watch a local sports team play on an international level with home commentators they are clearly biased.

go learn korean and listen to the korean stream if it bothers you that much

I don't care about how they do in traditional sports, stop avoiding.
I did mute btw, how can I listen to the korean stream ?

You have got to be kidding.

Just because its imba, doesn't mean every pros would use it. There are people who actually wants to win a legit game instead of depending on cheesy stuffs. Jinro being one example. And burrow move wouldn't come at 8 minutes into the game. -_-

You really believe that? People play to win at pro level and will abuse a strat if it's abusable. Remember when almost every TvP was a 1-1-1?

I am talking about some people who won't. And I even type out jinro as a example. Geez. you people don't read do you. I believe there are people who won't cheese/

no all you see is sentries and immortals and a warp prism. Then it turns out they're just harassing while taking a third and you waste 300/300 on nyduses.

Smart play.

Nyduses aren't a waste. You can use them later on offensively.

See game 1, Zenio prevented it.

He didn't use the same build in game 1.

Because he didn't have the opportunity to make it work. He flew around the ramp with a WP full of sentries but Zenio had units there so he was forced to go to the 3rd and try to do some damage.

That's a common tactic. Bringing in the blink stalkers with it is what makes it so powerful.

why dont you nydus your 2nd expo and your main. that way even if he does that bullshit you can just walk into the nydus
That would actually be so good

He just targets the Nydus, dies in 1 round of blink stalker shots.

Hey this prompts me to think about this situation.....what if your entire nydus network gets destroyed with your army inside? If you rebuild the nydus will you be able to get your army back?

im pretty sure you do

You don't watch koreans much, do you. If it was overpowered, 99% of korean protoss would use it. Most of them don't care about 'legit' wins like foreign nr20 'pros'.

Not really. The 1/1/1 wasn't used by the majority of pros until months after it's debut. This build is very, very new.

Okay, so TLO should have kept his units near the natural and the main base. You scout BLINK, a robo and the gates. You don't need 30 lings at the tower. 1 ling at the tower, the rest near the ramp.

Sure, Tassadar can try luring with some stalkers or something in the middle of the map, but that's called mindgames, tricks and is smart for the protoss player, not imbalanced.
