Rob Simpson just repeats and repeats what has already happen ingame, I'm just curious if I'm alone feeling like this?

Fruitdealer moment. that build that MC did this game is sase's build. i dont think most will realize it. heres the link
Chances are Sase didn't invent it, the OP of the thread just said he'd seen Sase use it on Korean ladder. It's probably fairly common in Korea.

Fruitdealer moment. Rofl wait what? MC better then Sase, sure maybe better at taking risks and cutting corners constantly. I'm rather surprised you think MC can actually accomplish anything without cutting corners or relying on micro.

"casting" and analyzing are 2 different things. ERP* day9 does a whole show analyzing games every day. He does way more analysis than artosis!

Taeja's upgrades are so sick. Every single game.

Why are these jokers allowed on TL?
MC's won endless major LAN's.
Sase has never won a major LAN. Sase has never even been in the semi final of a premier LAN.
MC has won more than 20x more money than Sase has. MC is an infinitely better player.

I agree. Day9 has more of an emphasis on strategic principles and overall gameplans than Artosis. It means he has less specific details on strategies, but I consider his approach to give a more robust understanding of strategic play.

On May 28 2012 05:32 Gladiator333 wrote: Rob Simpson just repeats and repeats what has already happen ingame, I'm just curious if I'm alone feeling like this? Nah. A lot of casters seem to follow this pattern and just excuse it by calling it "play by play" casting. This is combined with a lot of hit or miss statements thrown out almost at random such as: "great forcefields!" (no matter how they were) "his great blink micro won him the game [when he was 200% up in supply]"
EDIT: I'm not saying there is no merit to play-by-play, but you need some knowledge to know what to highlight and shut up about things you know nothing about.
