Preparation is a skill that some people excel at and some people don't, its is not so far-fetched to question Stephano's ability to prepare as we have not seen him in that type of environment.

If Stephano starts competing in Code S, he may analyse his opponents too. Something to think about...

No i agree with him. The koreans are very, very good at preparing builds for specific opponents with a certain time to do so. Stephano is known for not caring about others and just focussing on his own play. He plays extremely good on the fly and making quick decisions but i'm not too sure how he will do when his every move is going to be countered before he does it

Iambigbird, stop smearing Ganzi's name. We are tired of it as you can see by the replies from people here. As I said on page 85 or 86. They were not manner mules. That said, Illusion deserved the win. But stop accusing Ganzi of being bad mannered when he was not. It's disrespectful.

You didn't get my point, it's that every player in Code S is a finalist contender and that he could easily fall to any player in Code S.

Stephano are the most studied player in the korean scene for like 6 months and they still cant take him out.
Agreed. Do you seriously think that he hasn't been "prepared for"? It's been months and MC still considers him top 3 Zerg in the world and he still takes out top koreans.

illusion also has one of these TL-escape keys from wasd-keyboards, nice

On another note, do anyone else have a problem with the audio and the video not being synched?

God I really hope Illusion can win this one, would be a pretty big victory for NA starcraft, and a possible breakthrough performance for a very talented young player.

No, it is far-fetched as fuck. At most you can say that it is unknown if Stephano is good at preparing against his opponents, because we never have a chance to watch him in tournament like GSL.

Stephano needs a vodka tonic

Stephano is not a preparer.
He is an adapter.
His ZvZ style changed between MLG and this tournament in the space of a week. He was going 14 pool into ling baneling into roach play there, and here he's switched it up to ling infestor into ultra and plays practiced with it. The latter is what makes it amazing - he is able to change his style in a week and demolish with it.
But because he's an adapter, say Stephano figures out a style that works vs. his opponents and wins with it - he then doesn't change that style until he loses with it. He plays it again and again and again, and does not switch it up.
This is makes it easy to prepare vs. him the first time, but hard to prepare for him a second time.

I haven't had any problems since they fixed the streams

Nice troll. I was the one clearly defending him and saying that they were strategic mules not manner mules ^_^.
Accusing someone for something they didn't do when you are wrong is also disrespectful, ironic much??

Hard to choose who I want to win. Pairing both the Americans against each other so early. Violet v Illusion, whoever wins I wish the best.

If that was you, then I apologize. Nested quotes confuse me sometimes. Other than that, I stand by what I said, to whoever it was that did it.
