It's almost like terran have no unit costing 100 gas who can kill all those pesky infestors...

Stephano are the most studied player in the korean scene for like 6 months and they still cant take him out. This is an excellent point. Stephano is so well studied on the Korean scene that he almost single handedly made a lot of zergs switch to upgraded ling - infestor builds. You can make the case (and I firmly believe) that Stephano is the most talented player in SC2 given his spectacular results and light practice schedule. I'm predicting no one is "figuring out" Stephano any time soon. A lot of people seem to still think that Stephano only plays ~4 hours a day but that was when he was also going to school. Since he's been playing full-time he's practising a lot more. Yeah, Cloud said that he practices the most out of allmost all the EU pros. Because EU pros minus Naniwa and Grubby barely practice at all. Are you kidding me?
Am I? The bulk of EU pros don't play a lot of games / day. I see their match lists and at times it's nothing, at other times its 5-10 games a day, which is nothing.

Hahaha, that was a drone that enjoyed being injured.

I'm protoss - and I'd love to give it away. Blizzard even said that the reason stalker/sentry/zealot isn't better (pre-twilight upgrades - chargelots are good, yo) is to compensate for WG, since we have the same "offenders advantage" as we would defensively. If we had stronger units in return for WG I think protoss would be a lot more volatile.

Not to admit that their cost on minerals is extremely high. also I would like to know if you are informed about metagame. When did you saw recently people using more than 10 ghosts? That would be 1000 gas, Illusion would have still 3k. Another pair of things would be if ghosts costed 100\200 , but things changed, and it ain't like that anymore.

But in general EU pros seem to be kinda lazy, and it doesn't help that a lot of them still go to school.

Just to name a couple (I wont bother naming all of the hardcore playing europeans), but have you seen the amount of ladderstreaming from both WhiteRa and Kas lately?
Honestly, I see a ton of europeans practice a ton. I hardly ever see americans. Timezones and personal preferences, I guess?

I'm a bit afraid about their schedule, lol. Group A already took 4-5 hours and they want to show all groups today?

I agree. You dont need 248 players to make it a major tournament.

You need some kind of open format, just having loads of money and good games does not make it a major. Hopefully the next one will be a proper tournament rather than an invitational.
