I do however agree that free (ad based) events are the way to spread the audience, but PPV's have the most ROI. A mix is the best. Why do you think UFC has their free TV events and shows, but their main events are PPV? Remember that the MLG main events have a free version as well, so I'd say they're working on finding that ideal mix themselves.
