Didn't MLG decrease their 'free' events by quite a large margin, to move to this PPV way? I admit the money is more, the venue is better. But they dont have live viewers (or didn't last couple of times). This tournament may not exist if it wasn't ppv, but the older mlg tournies could have. This is the way i think alot of people are viewing this. To alot of people, this tourney is no diff than any other mlg, apart from the money increase. They just dont like the changes. But your question doesn't really prove the 'ppv is good modem it gives us these events', because its not proving that the event wouldn't exist without ppv. The events worked fine without ppv before hand. Its all a matter of give and tank, to give the players more, we ended up taking from the viewers. Which is fine imo, but i get why people dislike it. Either or, cheers for their being an event in the first place. | ||
