Half a year ago, I watched DRG and MMA face off on Shakuras in one of the best games in SC2 history :> The tactical play seems far less mature than the current SC2 pro level but their slick mechanics help them mask that lack of tactical knowledge well. It seems more like the games of early to mid 2011 to me, where little mistakes here and there snowballs into a huge advantage for one player, rather than the games of today where they're more proactive about constantly getting in each others' faces and not allowing them to get an uncontested advantage. SC2 is a faster paced game where a small mistake can be a game ending one. BW pros will need time to adapt to that.

Oh so he should have just waited for brood lords to get out so he could lose huh? edit: Against what Lizzy was doing, waiting for brood lords would never have worked. The blink stalker, sentry, immortal ball will ALWAYS hit before brood lords are out unless the Zerg hits the third and actually does some damage. PvZ is all about combating the economic capability of Zerg. Taking a fast third is one of the more viable and economical ways of dealing with it. You just need to be wary of an imminent attack because the Zerg is almost always going to be behind if they let the Toss get on three base saturation.

1-2 0-3 I hope this one-sided SC2 stomp trend doesn't continue for tonight.

But they are trying to ween the pros into SC2 so they have to put emphasis on that. Will make for some coin flippy ace matches but I guess that's the price to be paid for this type of transition. :/

MC's style these days, when he's not two basing, is to immortal expand and then to push out at a decent timing on three bases. He did it vs. Stephano today. Was referring how he said in the GSL, it was more dynamic and less "decided in 1 engagement". Wouldn't watch MC if you want multi-prong harassment and constant attacks/aggression.
