Flash and Jaedong lost......

Not surprising, once again, they've hardly played. Effort's macro was ballin.

I thought Lizzy played amazingly well. Not in terms of the GSL, which none of these players should be compared heavily to, but just compared to the other nine or so players who have played SC2 today. He showed the most understand, and while be sloppy, the best micro from anyone. Effort was good, too.

ZvP just hurts to watch sometimes. Effort played pretty damn well in my opinion. All the Protoss did is just walk up before Effort gets Broodlords out.

a lot of them are, but these bw players play a lot more passive than usual, but it depends on the matchup. tvz is almost always pressure non stop, where zvp is timing based and trading armies.

if you watch GSL its a lot more dynamic. watching this is like watching sc2 half a year ago.

I dunno. Half a year ago, I watched DRG and MMA face off on Shakuras in one of the best games in SC2 history :>

more like due to map design its impossible for DRG to touch 2 free bases for MMA. such a silly game

Not a single Colossus made in these games so far, and we're halfway through todays matches. I wonder if BW players have something against the unit.

well , it doesent hold a candle to the reaver.
The futures uncertain , but the end is always near

In GSL you prepare for a specific player. Here you have to prepare.for the match up as a whole - you don't know who you're playing.

Watch MC in MLGs. He plays the same styles as Lizzy, which I think is where Lizzy took his builds from.

MC is a more good macro -> deathball style though. He doesn't play that turtle-y, but doesn't go for small armies with multiprong attacks etc.

Well shouldn't you blame the map then?

Kind of funny to see protoss with 100% winrate without a single colossus.

well they certainly have got their macro down. wow that was amazing for how short they've practiced. effort's major mistake was his use of his units, if he unburrowed his roaches earlier would have been a lot better. and use fungal instead of IT's. still pretty amazing, im somewhat impressed.

he also spent all infestors energy making infested terran in the middle of the protoss army, they all died before they are morphed...

It's not just the tanks, he didn't have enough bunkers when the first attack hit. It's a mistake he won't make again that's for sure.

These guys literally have no concept of harass, runbys, constant army movement. There are big battles but more and more there is a ton of stuff going on. This is no representative of SC2 right now.

Lizzy didn't go for multiprong attacks.

MC's style these days, when he's not two basing, is to immortal expand and then to push out at a decent timing on three bases. He did it vs. Stephano today.
