TvZ is hard since the patch. TvZ early game is harder since the patch, with all-ins more easily scouted by faster overlords and more easily held by queens with greater range. So Jjakji decides to go for an all-in dependent on scouting denial.

I do think it's more sensible to still hope they mess up defending that than to risk it all on a one base push though. Still, Symbol is a great addition to Code S and Jjakji should be able to make it back through the up and downs.

I think it's an over reaction tho, terrans are just not even trying, in this game he could have sniped the 2 tumors without losing an hellion. Just bring an scv, put it behind on autorepair so when you back the hellion get full again for the next tumor laying tentative. I have to somewhat agree with the sentiment that terran's need to definitely start doing more with their builds. Both TvP and TvZ is generally a one build game if you watched the pros. I think terran players have caught the Sad Zealot depression because they keep getting nerfed. What was the last terran buff out of interest? I seem to only remember nerfs =S BC speed is the last one I can think of but surely something has happened to terran that's been positive in the last 9 months...

TvZ is hard since the patch. Usual LR stuff : protoss or zerg losing : they played bad/sloppy terran losing : patch incriminated Jjakji is a great player but he didn't play at his best here whereas Symbol was just very strong. And for what I've seen in IronSquid, he was just better than Jjakji here, that's it. If Jjakji played at his best (close to MMA TvZ imo), he would have won like MMA did.
