Alive's tvz was poor pre-patch so I expect the patch has only increased the chances of a leenock 2-0.

I put my LB on alive.
He's Zerg under the new patch. He will win.

Eh, Leenock should win this. He's still top TvZ while Alive is average TvZ

LOL!!!!!!!! Anyways Leenock should take this 2-0.

You must be new here
I think Jjakji's build wasn't too good. Symbol made those 3 spines because he did not see an expansion (despite scouting most of the places where it would have been).
It is worrying to see that Symbol was pushing creep while hellions were actively trying to deny it. Jjakji lost 2 hellions and killed 0 tumors (the first tumor to die fell to 2 scv's he brought with his push).

TvZ is hard since the patch. TvZ early game is harder since the patch, with all-ins more easily scouted by faster overlords and more easily held by queens with greater range. So Jjakji decides to go for an all-in dependent on scouting denial. It's far harder to deny creep spread and the resulting map control that allows for the massive economy explosion into the already superior late game so an early all in isn't such a bad idea. Kind of bad all in, but there you go.
I'm sure Terrans will figure something out. Or I hope they will. But it's a bit much to expect them to figure it out all that quickly when the entire game plan has been to take map control early to stop the economy explosion and creep spread, which is now very difficult.

I do think it's more sensible to still hope they mess up defending that than to risk it all on a one base push though. Still, Symbol is a great addition to Code S and Jjakji should be able to make it back through the up and downs. no need to do damage with anything, just pressure, scouting info etc while macroing
I guess we'll have to agree to disagree as usual =p
I just feel if you're holding off hellion/banshee with queens (0 larva) and a few spores you're in such a good position. T won't do anything outside of macro up till trying to hit a 2-2 timing before Hive, they can't really be aggressive once their early harass is shut down since none of the units make up the core army, and the Z is free to use any extra queens built to just dominate the map with creep.
It's a stable build, but if you don't get anything out of it you just end up relying on small timing window to hit before you're dealing with a lategame onslaught.
I'm interested to see if aLive does the 1 rax -> 5/6 rax builds that he did vs NesTea a lot at iron squid rather than a hellion build. Seemed an interesting way to still put on midgame pressure, but vulnerable if the zerg gets a good read on it.

Leenock going full retard

Expecting leenock to win, but aLive's TvZ isn't too shabby - should be a good series.

Leenock wants to prove he doesn't need the new queens.
All that prep time

Well you can't blame that type of response, P and Z have been buffed quite a lot recently, while T has honestly become weaker and weaker with every patch.
Hopefully we find something new, turns out finding out about ghosts was bad.
