1.5-2k with too few barracks and productions, taeja is not doing his best imo.

These kind of builds are showing how much development we have to come in SC2. Almost 2 years into the game, and dual upgraded mech has very rarely been seen, and we are now seeing it used so effectively at the highest level.

Well, if you fight 0/0 Marines with Stim vs 0/0 Marines with Shield, then the Shiled-Marines should win? But not totally sure about that.
Stim helps you with being more agressive and with dealing with banshees.

also takes less time than stim
since you wont have medivac at that time, stim will damange urself to much as well

Aw yeah, MKP siege tank hopping, so safe in the retreat. I remember when he first did that on Xelnaga Fortress in an attack, so great to see.

Standard stimmed marine will always lose against a standard shield marine, shield marine will habe 7hp left.

You read that totally wrongly. The most important part was to get those HT with energy while the Stc no longer produced ghost, then it's just an easy fight with some aoe while the terran hasn't the proper counter. Macro didn't mattered that much.


Also you don't really want 80 workers as Terran late game. To even have a chance vs lategame toss you need +20 army supply. StC macro slipped a bit but he was trying to micro across the map. Sigh zlots. I guess this is what Zerg feels like when they win a fight vs T but then mules land and they have to face another 50 marines. Can't wait till HotS is all I can say at least...

If you were watching the money, theStC was broke for that entire engagement. I obviously couldn't check to see if he was queueing up units needlessly, but given that he's a Code S Terran, I doubt it. If anything, he would have liked MORE workers, not less.


You'd be surprised how many progamers queue up units. Bomber, Byun, and BoxeR does it regularly. Not that I know STC did it, but it's pretty common.

No offense to those players, but they are not at the very apex of Terran play. BoxeR is past his prime (sorry, Emperor) and just not able to play like he once was, Bomber is notoriously inconsistent, and Byun... well, I can't really say much of anything about him.

I'm not saying it's impossible that theStC was queueing units, but I don't think he's as likely to do that as some of these other players. Well, I guess this'll all get cleared up when GOM releases the replays-

Wolftosis, you should know never to suggest Base Trading against MKP.
