MKP was tilted and looked very tired, so he played aweful in the second series. I'd happily put up a hundred bucks if they played a bo7 next week, i'd spot you 1-4 too. So because MKP outplayed Taeja in the first round and won 2-0, but got outplayed by Taeja in the second round- the round that actually counts more because Taeja moved on to the next round as a result and MKP didn't- and lost 2-0 (note the identical score), MKP is clearly the better player? Oh okay. Makes sense. MKP may have been showing stronger results in 2012 overall, but today, Taeja was the better player. He held it together and won where it mattered. Get over it.

It didn't make it clear to me, Taeja fought well in the first series against Marineking. He won against Marineking when they met again and that's what matters, congratulations Taeja and PartinG ![]()

Don't look only at their matches against each other.

You have to admit, though, that it kind of sucks for MKP that his third match had to be vs. PartinG while Taeja got to play The StC. Oh well! These are the perils of the Dual Format. I guess you could put it that MKP ended up paying for the privilege of an opportunity to exit the group in only 2 matches.

They were ranked on how they did in the group. Taeja also pulled super saiyan when it counted, whereas MKP choked. The better player in the clutch at the time went on.

Eh, true, but while TheStC's TvT isn't the best like PartinG's PvT, it is still really strong. These formats are good for making it difficult for a certain player if they can only win or advance in certain situations or against certain opponenets, and can be unforgiving to players with gaping weaknesses. I should clarify: even if those weaknesses are momentary, it can cost them bigtime.

Also really wanna see Taeja vs Nani in the final of this GSL though. Perfect day, so many awesome games, the level of code S is way too good compare to code A yesterday lol. Can day just sell the code S package separately for me only lol, I don't really care about code A at all. Also Wolf is much much much better than Tasteless, he's so funny with Artosis and they make a great combo :D

In the 2nd game, he just happened to get the better of his overly aggressive style and find taeja out of position

You become as emotionally invested as physically, probably more so emotionally invested for SC2. Professional athletes cry, win or loss, its even happened before in SC. Grow up people. People clamor about how the Koreans are emotionless robots, boring to watch, etc. And at the same time people are jumping on MKP for showing more emotion than any other player. Sometimes this community just baffles me. I don't understand this argument. Are you implying that other pros are somehow less emotionally invested than MKP? The thing that annoys me about MKP fans is that they always go "poor, poor MKP ![]() ![]()

Well to be honest, if you followed the subtle hints TL had been given out it was pretty obvious that Taeja was their pickup. And just to state it, he does not train and live in a korean house, he lives at home with his parents, but yeah he is a korean, but why does this disqualify him from being cheered on by TL-Fans? Last time I checked he was on TL... O_o
