 What he does vs protoss seems very simple - establish 3 bases, make enough drones, start infinite roach production, profit. Why is it so hard for other pro zergs to do this? And his ZvT - i did not see the games vs Kas because i had to get up early in the morning, but come on, 4:0 vs the Destroyer? I expected him to win, but a cleen sweep, srsly? <3 Stephano!!!!! | ||

Ask freaking IdrA he just says that Protoss is so OP and you can only ever attack with Infester Broodlords.. I really hope that a ton of Zergs start doing Stephano style and Roaches will get nerfed.. | ||

The word "halt" is included in every single sentence of monchi and Take is using it very often too. Also delphi and hasu have tendences to overuse it. This is quite annoying and maybe you two can focus a bit on not to overuse these filling words. | ||

HerO vs. Stephano 3rd Game was won on a map particularly good for protoss against macro zergs, on which hero has only lost 1 game in his entire career (against aLive). So that's (somewhat) irrelevant. And MC did mostly 2 bases timing which appears to be the best solution so far. But without MC forcefields a protoss is almost always all-in, which proves there is still room for improvements. | ||

I saw Stephano's roach-pushes crush Hero on Antigua and also crush MC in two games. Those games actually showed even MC and Hero lose to these pushes. | ||

Well, it's definitely a build that strains the multitasking of both players and as stephano can play 400apm with the best of them, the P has to do a lot to keep up. But I can't agree that if you know it's coming, then it is impossible to stop. It very much becomes a battle of execution. | ||

The Roach push is extremely hard to stop though, especially when executed by Stephano who is very comfortable with it and who rallies all his reinforcing units straight into his existing armies. Stephano usually has this as his Plan A because it does work so often, but he sometimes has to fall back to plan B which is usually infestor, hive, broodlords. Some maps also make the Roach push to destroy/deny the third base harder to execute than on others. It will be interesting to see whether Protoss will continue to struggle against this particular strategy until HOTS comes out, which will change everything again. Stephano will face tough challenges in Korea without question. Squirtle, MC, Genius, Naniwa, Oz, Puzzle are all brilliant Protoss players. | ||

They will show you how to deal with those pushes. the problem is, that a diamond player can work 1 day and max out on 12 minutes on raoches - im not even zerg, i tried it and was maxed on 11:05 with +1, speed, lingspeed and 3 evo with a normal 7 minute roachwarren/evo timing. its sick easy to do it, its pretty hard to take a 3rd. Toss can always defend it and take a 3rd, but they cannot allow themselves to make mistakes, while it doesnt matter if the zerg herpderps 20 raoches into an army without killing a unit^^ player like MC and HerO defend it usually, but its not like PvZ lategame would be easy^^ | ||
