Yes, but from what I understand in this 3way tie (Heart/Parting/DRG) it's about OVERALL map score (i.e. for DRGs viewpoint [wins vs. heart + wins vs. parting] - [losses vs. heart + losses vs. parting])

The second criterium was the decider, DRG-Heart and Parting-DRG ended 2-1, while Heart-Parting ended 3-0. Among the tied players, Parting is 2-4 in mapscore, DRG is 3-3 and Heart is 4-2. The final order of the 3 tied players then becomes: Heart > DRG > Parting, with Parting being eliminated at 7th place overall. Heart isn't in the tie-breaker, he has a better map score than both of them.

Parting shouldn't have even gone to MLG in reality, he and Startale only care about GSL in the first place so I don't know why he showed up. Round Robin Ranking (1st-8th) will be determined using each Player’s Record of Matches won and lost. Ties will be broken using the following Tiebreakers in this order: Head to Head Match Winning Percentage (Matches Won vs. Tied Players / Matches Played vs. Tied Players), Head to Head Games Winning Percentage (Games Won vs. Tied Players / Games Played vs. Tied Players), and Round Robin Games Winning Percentage (Round Robin Games Won / Round Robin Games Played). If there is a tie involving more than two Players and one of the Tiebreakers resolves the tie for a Player(s), but leaves at least two Players tied, resolution of the tie that still exists will start over with Head to Head Match Winning Percentage. The higher number will win all Tiebreakers.

Since Ganzi 2-1, parting 2-1, DRG 1-2, heart 1-2 so Ganzi, parting is thru. Then DRG 2-1 heart so DRG thru.

Seriously, read the MLG rules on their website. Normal tournaments have overall map-score as one of their top criteria, MLG just does it differently.

They didn't even compete in the lastest MLG online qualifier due to GSL training. Sure Parting would like to win but he still isn't going to be giving this event even 75% of his best.
