There isn't delay on the cast?

WHAT THE FUCKING SHIT? That is 100% unacceptable. Out of all the shit I have seen from the NASL this is the worst by far.
Seriously, how fucking naive can they be? Has this been done before? People will cheat, how fucking stupid can you be? We don't know if there is one or not. Usually people trust professional players, people who play for a living, to play fairly. Part of the deal. They can't be blamed by a choice by IdrA, and Cruncher wasn't going to anyways.
You trust the people playing for big money to play fairly? That is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. You think there hasn't been cheating in eSports before? Like I said, that is incredibly naive. Even if this were a match between Sheth and White-Ra, tournaments should be as rigorous as possible when it comes to making sure the match can be nothing but fair. You can't just assume the players will do the honorable thing.
I really, really want to hear an official word from NASL on this. If they have a delay and IdrA is just being unreasonable, fine. If they were actually going to allow that match to proceed without taking any precautions to prevent cheating, that is outrageously incompetent.

I've never seen any big online tournament playing his games live. It's understandable that IdrA doesn't want to play on this conditions against a guy who sniped him in the past.
I know sniping isn't cheating but it's borderline, you can't know Cruncher didn't peak at IdrA's stream.

well at least thorzain is destroying alicia

He sniped him, IdrA lost, blamed it on stream cheating, was proven wrong, called CrunCher a waste of life on TL, got banned for 90 days. Cruncher was in IdrA's stream chat in the list of users during the game, and where has it been proven wrong? Because the build Cruncher did was his standard weird zealot pressure build. There was nothing abnormal, relative to Cruncher's other PvZ games at the time. Same terrible wall formation, and units.
IdrA's concern is legitimate when facing ANYONE, but the fact that he knew what the situation was going into the match and decided to pause and make that statement shows some amount of premeditation and a whole lot of immaturity. If he wanted a replay casted match and didn't want a scene, he would've just told the NASL admins before getting started.

Such a dick move. how is it a dick move? the only difference is IdrA VS Cuncher happens after Thorzain VS Alicia imo i like it, i hadnt thought of stream cheating before but iwth 150 on the line and no watch dog to stop it its definently possible Dick move was to wait for broadcast to start, join game, then pause and request stuff. I guess it was cooler that way, instead of talking with NASL before broadcast started or even before he joined damn game. If that was intentional, that was a dick move. I also think calling Cruncher's professional integrity and character into question on a big tournament stream is highly disrespectful. And I wonder, would he have done the same thing if he was playing someone like Thorzain? Thorzain hasnt stream cheated against him before
And you have no proof that Cruncher did either.
In other news Thorzain is a fucking bawse at TvP

It's kind of obvious that you can't stream without any delay. Would anyone of you really risk it? Do you really trust your opponent that much? I wouldn't even trust a well known player. If they are sitting at home alone.. who knows what they will do? Money is on the line.. so.. yeah.

Thorzain´s TvP looking so great. Yesteday vs Feast and now vs Alicia

Thorzain DOMINATING this new Korean high-templar heavy style.

"NICE, no, excuse me bad storms!"
Seems like Gretorp is trying to shed the long-heralded caster stereotype of praising every storm/forcefield/fungal used in the game

Deezer and combat managed to do pretty well with stream cheating even with the delays

There's a history of slightly fishy circumstance regarding Idra v Cruncher and streams. The fact is, this protects Cruncher from accusations more than anything. Its good for him.

If NASL is going to run a season with live games, then they've made that decision with the understanding that there is the potential downside of stream cheating, however unlikely. For them to allow Idra to choose not to play live would seem to be an admission that games shouldn't be played live because of the potential to stream cheat. Idra is submitting to the rules of NASL by participating in the league, they should tell him forfeit or play. I actually can't believe they just let Idra push them around. It's good that NASL honored the request, considering that other players (particularly some european/korean players didn't have to play live). Your acting like all the games are live. Almost half the games are replays that were played within 24 hours of the cast.
Regardless NASL has hyped up this season in saying that as many games will be casted live as possible. It's part of NASL's strategy for success. NASL has now opened itself up to the possibility that every player can request that his games not be casted live. Again, Idra should have to cooperate with NASL's rules to play in the league.

Good job Thorzain!

Thorzain looking powerful once again. Although Alicia isn't really a top Korean anymore, it's still an impressive win.

Thorzain totally wrecked Alicia in game one.
