All players are in Masters league on Korean/Taiwanese server. Show match consists from 1vs1 BO3 between 5 players.
Oh this is interesting. I'm not japanese but I have lived in Tokyo for 7 years. This pretty rare to hear about SC2 events here in Japan so I'd like to go to one of those some day. Unfortunately I cannot go tomorrow. Hoping for more opportunities like this, especially around Akihabara (the place to be if you're a gamer) because I work there. 行けませんが、また次回の機会を楽しみにしています。今度秋葉原(仕事場の近くだから)でもイーベントを企画して頂ければ嬉しいです^^ これからも宜しくお願いしま~ そして日本チームがんばれ!!
Awesome stuff. Best of luck to the Japanese players! Wish all 3 Type players could participate though. Also really interested on the participants from the Taiwanese side.
Hi everyone! I am glad there are so many people interested in this show match! I hope you will enjoy it!
Here is update on some rules and map pool:

I live in Tokyo too, do you know any net-cafe have SC2 near Akihabara where I can go and play with other people?
hoping for sen, hui, and softball at least. if none of those three are playing im not sure if this can truly be taiwan's representation. hoping for the best though!
I don't think the point of the show match is to put the strongest players against eachother. It's pretty obvious with Taiwan having its own professional scene that they would win handily. I'm pretty sure it's mentioned in the OP that all the players who will be playing are in Masters.
If I'm still up at 6 am and I'm conscious enough to remember about this I'll definitely check it out. Will be interested to hear some live casted SC2 games in Japanese.

Might be just a difference in gaming culture. I thought Japan played more RPG-esque and novel-based games rather than FPSes and RTSes.
Sen's Gamania Bear team has a Taiwan eSports League (TESL) match tonight... I doubt him or any of any of his teammate can participate in this event. Besides Sen is a GM, not a master...
Show match has ended. Any one who missed an Epic games between Japanese and Taiwanese players can re-watch in archives here: http://ja.justin.tv/esportssquare
Replay pack will be released soon too!
I really hope you guys enjoyed the show (personally I was on the edge ^^). Both sides showed very skilful play and unique technics.
Japanese community is very young, but I am sure it will grow bigger and will be involved into more tournament all over the world.
Once again thank you guys for all the support and thanks for watching!!
