A: Pause the stream for a couple of seconds, then click play. If that doesn't work. Close the stream entirely and re-open it. Q: GOM TV stream won't open for me. What do I do?
A: DL the latest version of GOM. Make sure you've enabled the Live stream feature GOM require you to. If nothing else. Click on the Link below the stream Link above the FAQs. Q: I'm watching the same stream as everybody else but it seems like I'm behind all the time. What'S up?
A: GOM streams tend to lag for some reason, therefore when the casters go on break and come back (cause u need to be able to hear to know if you're fast forwarding or not), hit "c" on your computer to fast forward. U should keep hitting "c" until you reach around 2.0x or 3.0x. When you hear the noises start to skip, then hit "z" to return back to 1.0x Speed. Do this every time because it never stops lagging Q: I bought the GSL ticket but I can't watch GSTL HQ?
A: GSTL is not included in the package. You have to buy the tickets separately

Having their stars doesn't mean they will necessarily play them. But perhaps a potential trip to vegas will knock some sense into IM coach.

well if IM lose and he doesnt play them , i think he will have taken the crown for worst coach
Come on IM! I have you as my desktop wallpaper, don't pull some stupid shenanigans and send 5 b-teamers =( Hoping for a Nestea all-kill (in my dreams lol).

No way they'll fuck this up with B-teamers, IM has been pretty serious this season unlike the last. They're only in the losers because 3 of their best players were gone against Startale. My bet is that this will end with Losira or Happy cleaning up. If they go down MVP will come out.
Nestea sadly will be napping on the bench as always >_<
Hmmm. Not particularly favoring any team over the other, but I'd like to see San, Sage, Mvp and Seed do well. Won't be able to watch this live, unfortunately.
They'll hold back the terrible twosome as long as possible, especially MVP due to his wrist problems, but I think if IM's back is to the wall they'll have to bust out him or Nestea
And I'd never noticed this until this precise moment, but the name Incredible Miracle implies the possibility of credible miracles. Goddamnit Korea
If i recall correctly, Losira 3-killed and all-killed Nshoseo on 2 separate occasions before. I think IM can win this as long as the coaches make the right choices and his best players don't get sniped.
Also if Sage wins his first game I will be shocked if IM doesn't send out a Protoss to snipe him instantly. Anything else would be a terrible decision.

Maybe they'll make me a happy camper for once and send Nestea :D

I would be surprised if they didn't send Nestea out at some point tonight. This should be the first time in a long time that we see IM actually try.

I've been watching most of the live korean music shows.................. much to the chagrin of my mind in particular cause I keep having to sleep in when I probably shouldn't but... Yeah I think I'm caught up with the music that's really popular + performed live though (for the most part)

He might be sniping jjakji. Nestea just isn't suited for gtsl where you can't prepare, he is basically a player who really really becomes a monster if he is prepared for you. being used as a sniper suits him more

They are normally saved for huge events. Like code s, I think they might do gstl finals.
They used to cast GSTL :O I can't remember how long ago that was.....seems like ages. I wonder if it was their decision to stop doing team leagues or if it was GOM's.
so is it true that IM's next GSTL match will be during the next MLG? If so this match doesn't even really matter. Doubt they can beat any team without Nestea, MVP, and Losira.

I guess Losira probably won't go since he got knocked out of the Arena so quickly but I'd be really surprised if MVP didn't.

I thought Mvp was still listed as going. Or did he turn it down?
It's a shame that Moletrap is still casting for GOM. No analysis, complete play by play with a terrible delivery and gets far too excited at the weirdest moments in the game. I havent bought GOM this year because Tastosis doesn't cast shit anymore.
You can't really punish 3 CC if you double forge. he saw the Factory so I'm guessing he was just playing defensively due to threat of drops. No Thermal Lance and a bad Blink (couldn't get under the Vikings since he Blinked away to Snipe the Ghost was pretty huge).

Seriously where is Tastosis? They haven't done anything since the GSL finals... Do they only do Code S now? I miss how excited Artosis and Tasteless get when they discuss who the teams should send out and the player's strengths. Moletrap/Khaldor don't really seem to do this, Wolf attempts it though so (h5) to him. Atleast get Tastosis to cast one of the GSTL matches... :/

Pretty sure IM is fairly well off, they had Coke as a sponsor for a while when MVP/Nestea dominated the world (they still do ofc) which is friggin amazing for a team.

I agree with Wolf + Khaldor and TB + Apollo, but the others are very rare.
I could listen to Doa cast anything, his voice is just so awesome. But I think it is a fairly widely held community consensus that Tastosis is the best casting combo around.
Though recently alot of other casters have lifted their game, which has been good for everyone.

I swear I remember seeing this.
The only thing I know is that Wolf+Doa will be there.
And I seriously doubt that they wont be casting some of the games. They are brilliant together.

Khaldor will definitely be there too. He was talking to Doa from Major's account during the Major vs Axslav showmatch and said he would see Doa at IPL4

Been wondering this myself, I mean do they have other jobs? They work like a few days a month, not trying to hate I I just love their casting so much wish they would cast more.
They are saved for big events.
What? I'm just curious why GOM doesn't ask them to cast more, I am sure when they are casting viewership instantly goes way up, which is what GOM wants?

That's all good, but the duos you mentioned are not going to be able to cast for GOM in the near future. Until then, I want better casting if I'm going to pay for GOM's service. Right now Moletrap and Khaldor are preventing me from purchasing GOM's product.
Why must you follow mob mentality and bash Moletrap? The guy is an excellent caster who is entertaining, provides deep insight of sc2, and calls pretty much 95% of things he observes correct.

depends how much money they are getting from those sponsors o.o
how much money do they even get?
Pretty sure IM is fairly well off, they had Coke as a sponsor for a while when MVP/Nestea dominated the world (they still do ofc) which is friggin amazing for a team.
from what i've heard, the coke sponsorship is pretty much free coca cola.

Why would you choose Calm before the Storm as a PvZ map? Wouldn't you want to save this for a PvT? Strange choice, considering Jjakji is still on the bench.

I have a feeling seal was expecting seed is expecting HIM to do a stephano style because of the map. Or seed is gonna be greedy and go 3 base, mutas pretty much soft counter both builds. Really smart play by seal actually.

Personally I'm not a fan of Moletrap but its not going to stop me from buying a ticket, hes been improving a-lot and I think if him and Khalador would work on not undercutting each other so harshly they could be good. If you don't like him that's fine but the hate is actually getting to the level where it could cost him his job which he most certainly does not deserve, try to remember that he is a fellow human being before being so harsh. Personally I don't think his niche lies within analysis or even play by play but more so in his adequate knowledge of players history and all of the behind the scene jazz which is a nice relief considering Tastosis and many other casters are often ignorant of players if they are not participants of the mainstream scene.

I think it's definitely what you said about getting more than 1 win, especially when they are now down in score. They are probably hoping Mvp can get 2-3 wins and possibly take out some of the stronger players and force NSH to send out jjakji against him
I don't understand why they are so reluctant on using YongHwa, they must not have faith in this guy but I've followed him closely through his stream and other minor tournaments and this guy is legitimately in my opinion one of the best if not top 3 Protoss in the world. They decided two wins for NSHS was enough and MVP will all-kill now, of course.

I think if NSHS hadn't of gotten those last two kills we may have seen YongHwa at some point, but now with only 3 players left IM coach hasn't really got much choice but to get serious if he really wants to go to Las Vegas.
How's MVP's late game vs Z since the ghost nerf? Part of the reason he was so scary in that match up is that he could use ghosts so effectively. Like when he played Lucky recently and in two games it got into really late game where Lucky had a really impressive broodlord / corruptor army. In the game where MVP meched and made no ghosts, he lost, but he crushed Lucky in the second game where he really abused ghosts.

Yeah I think even Nestea would have been a better choice, he would have crushed Seal fairly easily and then I think MVP is a much better choice to close out than Nestea. Happy would have been the best choice though, if MVP loses without taking out 2-3 members of NSHS I think Jjakji can probably beat Nestea and Happy. They dont have Seed either who could take out Jjakji so very risky decision.
I love it though, i remember before almost no one took GSTL seriously and everyone just sent out their B teamer players to get them experience, but now with slayers sending out MMA etc, everyone is playing to win which makes for a lot of entertaining games, and we still get to see the up and comers.
Are these fan made comments on the team? No offense to GOM but I would think that with their resources they could at least get someone with better English to do their team descriptions.

NesTea is their best chance of taking out San/Tassadar, imo.

Mvp beat San at MLG Winter Arena so he's capable of doing it. Their "best" chance at killing san would actually probably be Younghwa if he's still good at PvP since that's San's weakest MU

He only plays when it actually matters (i.e elimination). I'm sure he'll come out today, if they're losing.

Like when he played Lucky recently and in two games it got into really late game where Lucky had a really impressive broodlord / corruptor army. In the game where MVP meched and made no ghosts, he lost, but he crushed Lucky in the second game where he really abused ghosts.
I haven't seen much of his late game since the patch, but I think yesterday showed that Ghosts aren't completely useless vs Broodlords. It's more vs Ultralisks that their usefulness has died off. I can't remember which game it was, but on Cloud Kingdom we saw a few Broods die to snipe anyway so it's hard to say how much MVP will really suffer from the nerf.
EDIT: Nevermind that was on CatZ stream, a coL practice match lolol. Not a GSTL game.

What? I'm just curious why GOM doesn't ask them to cast more, I am sure when they are casting viewership instantly goes way up, which is what GOM wants?
First of all Artosis has a Kid. Also not everyone likes Tastosis more then any other caster duo. I actually prefer Doa+Wolf, Wolf with any other caster, Doa+Cats or TotalBiscuit+d.Apollo over them.
It's a complete matter of opinion. It's a mob mentality because a lot of people do not like him. You're more than welcome to disagree, but I fail to see how he provides "deep insight" and "observes correctly." I choose with my wallet, and Moletrap's casting prevents me from buying GOM's product.
Whatever kid, you're just blinded by hatred of Moletrap to realize his knowledge. I'd say he's pretty on par with Artosis and Day9 in terms of knowledge of the game.
I will agree that he is usually pretty good but you can't deny he had a pretty rough night last night which sparked up the mob

Personally I don't think his niche lies within analysis or even play by play but more so in his adequate knowledge of players history and all of the behind the scene jazz which is a nice relief considering Tastosis and many other casters are often ignorant of players if they are not participants of the mainstream scene.
that is life
you might feel sorry that a person may lose his job but you have to understand that it could happen if someone is not doing his job well enough. If he gets axed, then I might feel bad but I would understand that it was probably for the best. When he was on the show Off the Record when they had NaDa, he was at his best. He needs to improve and find his stride.

Well yeah you can't commit and hope to kill him, the point of the push should be to force units, possibly kill the third if the zerg was way to greedy (shouldn't happen but sometimes can) and clearing creep is very good, even if it's only for 30 seconds that creep is going to be pushed back a bit as more creep tumors are put down.
I want a gif of that attack. Seal split his army before moving in so they game from many angles instead of being a clump. Looks more zergy, and more Brood War-y, and is also better.

If you have two medivacs and stim bio pushes are great, you'll force a load of banes and can save 16 marines if tits get upwardly inclined.

It's an old MKP style basically - you do an early bio push with combat shields and ~3 marauders to achieve the same creep/third denial as opening reactored hellion. By moving near the ramp before all the creep had receded, however, MVP massively over-committed and so traded really cost-inefficiently.
Why do zergs wait until they have 9-10 broods and give the Terran time to prepare. I feel that this could be over if seal had attacked before MVP maxes.

not making a excuse on why MVP lost but lets be honest here, he has a injured wrist if people watch the game you can realize he wasnt moving as fast as he usually does

MVP did not do well, that was awful.
Horrible early attack that did less than nothing. Losing endless drops while doing no damage. The only worthwhile drop was the one that killed the spawning pool.

Wow that was some gold league level bad late-game by Seal. I hate seeing so much min floated. Yes you're maxed and zerg, but take a base, build spines, something, yikes. Still MVP I felt threw away that game every chance he could. No-stim marine timing attack after a gasless expand ON creep, drop play against mutas that just got demolished. It was all just kinda meh standard high level zerg and too textbook to really work.

I don't think nuking that base was a good idea for MVP. Defensive nuke making a much more sense for me, especially when two large armies crashed against each other. It was very hectic and could force Zerg to retreat, or if lucky kill Zerg's army.

there were several overseers with Seal's army
I thought he was sending the ghost out to nuke from the side so Seal wouldn't know where to look for the ghost. but he'd probably just move the army anyway.

It was just the early attack basically. He never made a fourth because there was no chance of ever taking a fourth. The drop play was essentially the only way to get back (besides hoping that Seal tosses away his army); Seal was just too on top of them.

It was a timing. nearly every tvz is going to have a timing around the 9 minute mark, it's basically required. Seal stuck on 2 bases and got banelings, a good counter to a 4 rax combat shield timing.
I don't get it... Seal is obviously vulnerable to early 2rax pressure as shown in multiple team league games... why not just send out IMHappy the first time and 11-11 him T_T
I feel Nestea messed up a little bit at the end. He definitely could have held that again if we was more patient and targeted correctly with the spine.
Right now, I know they didn't think Seal was too big of a deal to snipe quickly, but I don't get why they didn't send out Happy after he got the 2nd kill. D:
MVP and Nestea are likely players that spend a lot of time preparing for a specific opponent, whereas in the GSTL it's more luck of the draw than anything.
Can anyone explain why blind 15 hatch (no drone scout) is so standard in competitive play, especially in a bo1? Huge risk.
I understand that in a long series you can alternate between 14/14 and 15 hatch so that choosing to 10pool instead of 14/14 is a risk as well, but in a bo1, why'd you take such a big risk in one game? If nestea played safe, Seal would have played from behind, but it wouldn't be a build order loss.

Cause nestea is confident he can hold off cheese, if he held it off, seal would have SURELY gg. And nestea almost held it off against a 10 pool drone pull. Thats pretty impressive
Nestea is so smart you gota wonder why he didn't assume that someone like Seal would all in him, I mean pool first and he just wins, and even if Seal hatch firsts hes so much better it doesn't matter.

Nestea yes, MVP no, MVP is player that play safe almost every game no matter who he face.

Since Mvp's wrist injury he's been playing pretty bad compared to his standards. Nestea is just insanely overrated and his GSL wins have had some of the easiest paths of any winner. Nestea hasn't performed well at foreigner tournaments or against top Koreans ever really.

Yeah, but Bomber isn't amazingly weak in any match-ups. Neither is MarineKing.
Happy's vP and vT have been very suspect. Boxer made him look like a joke in the Up-and-Downs in a straight up micro/positioning game.

I wouldn't trust Tassadar in this kind of a situation, but yeah. He still remains for NSHS. Remaining NSHS players:
- San - Jjakji - Sculp - Tassadar
I think you have the right players but I think they send out sculp before jjakji since he has pretty decent TvT, but I guess it doesnt really matter what order since this is IM's last player regardless and NSHS will have all the map choices left

If Seal can 4 kill IM with MVP and Nestea, Happy can for sure take 4 kill NSHS. That being said its not likely to say the least

Yea I agree with you. I'm 99% confident that NSHS has this locked up. I was just wondering if Golgotha meant that NSHS was too good to be all killed in general or if he just meant by Happy. Happy won't be able to
Maybe one day, players will learn how to hold off 10 pool with hatch first consistently in large maps. No more coinflip matchup anymore! Non-zerg players might feel its a very volatile matchup, but in actual fact it isn't. The only thing that's coinflip in zvz is 10p vs 14p vs 15hatch, though the gap between 14p and 15hatch can be easily overcame by someone good mechanically.

It's not like they're sending randoms against him. Seed has one of the best PvZ, Mvp has one of the best TvZ and NesTea has one of the best ZvZ
I know, but most of the time, they reserve your aces who have better rounded game for all 3 matchups. Happy's TvZ is around the 80% mark, while his other matchups aren't really that good making him easier to snipe in theory. I understand snipers may be made for Mvp and NesTea anyways, but the great players they are, they would still have a great chance to overcome it!
Anyways, I'm not questioning the IM coach's decision, since he is a pro team coach. I'm just wondering, and thinking aloud, and putting what I was wondering out there.

But still, at the very highest levels of play, such as a the GSL, the gap will be apparent.

Uh huh.
It took you to see through the community's lies and reveal Nestea for what he really is, a scrub.

When I watch DRG ZvZ these day it doesn't feel coin flip at all.

Well, presently there's still DRG. He made losira, one of the fastest players, look bad just based on mechanics alone.
Not gonna lie, right before this started, I was watching the Proleague. In my mind I was comparing the two (CJ vs KT / IM vs NsHs) and thought the GSTL games were horrible compared to the SPL games... then I saw NesTea defend that. I have hope

The Proleague games tonight were pretty shit outside Horang2/Flash and the final game where pulled drones, cheesing Wooki.

tanks are p good against roaches
You won't have tanks that quickly. If you watched the Lonestar tourney today violet did a roach pressure vs. dragon who did the exact same build. I don't know how popular roaches are in KR, but on NA zergs open roaches almost every game vs. reactor hellion because you don't have enough bio to defend.

Tonight's games weren't all that well either besides the NeaTea game (so far)

yes you have tanks in time to defend absolutely 100%.
get 4 hellions and swap addons and you can have it before roaches get halfway across the map
Did seal just forget his evos for a long time or something? seems so weird that he's so far behind on upgrades or did he just pump all his gas into mutas?

that style is a little dated. 4 helions into 3 rax and starport is becoming standard.

Yeh the only justification I can think of is that MvP and Nestea didn't want the pressure of playing last.

Yeah, he sent out MVP and Nestea before, he clearly is not taking him seriously.

Just a ridiculous amount of banelings. He may have beat the army but he was doing it really cost inefficiently, and against Happy's economy it just put him further and further behind.

If you watch GSL Open Season 1 first round the observing by Tasteless was hilarious. There is one game on Xelnaga caverns where they just move the observer camera over a void of nothingness and then talk about what's happening in the game for like 2-3 minutes and you cant see it. lol

Why didn't San go for colossus before templar tech? I thought colossi were ridiculously good on this map due to the small chokes everywhere. chargelots not so much

Viking positioning are way better on that map, as you can poke at the collosi and Stalkers can't reach you because of the gaps.
if he had baited happy into the choke, his collosi would have raped with the splash, that was his intention with that attack. Unfortunately for him happy, had good viking placement to prevent exactly that.
so really it was happy being smart, that's why he won, not coz san was being stupid.

Not really. You don't take that kind of risk based on hoping that your opponent fucks up (by a-moving into the choke). You can't assume someone at a high level, who KNOWS you have collossi, will make a mistake like that.

Even if he got EMP'ed one storm would have shredded that army, happy was forced to go super rine heavy to fight the zealots, but he had no templar

nah, san was being dumb. no reason to engage in any position before getting storm out
Khaldors casting is so off. Just beacuse he didn't win GSL Code S twice in a row doesn't mean he hasen't shown good results. He's been STOMPING everywhere.. ugh Khaldor...

He barely scraped it out of Ro32, then got stomped in Ro16 and had sloppy & close games Virus

I'm sure Khaldor knows about Jjakji's results, like in the KSL and ESV. But televised matches are televised matches - they're just different. He was by no means saying Jjakji's terrible, but it's pretty valid to say that he's not completely dominating (as he was hyped after his GSL finals series - which is probably still the best finals yet).
Happy is playing so well, if he reverse all kills everyone will forget about Seal haha, but they both deserve a lot of credit
Really liked the delayed cloak, most of the time it catches people pretty off guard and if you can make them blow scans in the midgame you can do really well if you get air advantage

NsHoSeo had better result than IM in 2011 GSTL Season 1 and ranked higher, not sure why people found it so hard to accept that IM might be underperforming in team leagues.
There's very much a case for Prime being one of the strongest teams in Korea and the world now. They just seem unbeatable in team events this year. Ever since they opened Primezzang, they've really picked it up. I'd say teams like IM and slayers maybe aren't like the teams we're used to seeing them like anymore. I mean, disappointing showings from both teams in the GSTL 2011 season 1 and now them both dropping out very early on in the GSTL this time around.
I'm not too much of a fan of NSHoseo either, as their performances are very up and down in terms of wins and losses from the games I've seen. It often times depends on what players show up. If their players show up and play well, they usually do really well, like today, with seal. If they don't show up, then they usually just get all-killed like a really bad team.
On March 18 2012 20:42 Denzil wrote: Someone explain the genius of NesTea against the 10 pool?
He didn't cancel his expansion, instead he transferred all his drones to the expansion and sacced his main, to avoid Seal's spinecrawler. Then he built a spine of his own at his natural and fought with his drones once his lings hatched. He killed almost all of seal's units, but it wasn't quite enough, and seal was able to just barely walk his spinecrawler down to the natural after killing nestea's pool. Nestea tried to block it on the ramp, but seal had enough units to land the spinecrawler, and then they fought with everything and seal won with 27 hp on the spine and just a few lings.
Team leagues matches are very volatile. Especially winners league because 1 player on a hot streak can basically win it for their team. And I don't think the IM coach should be faulted. Seed, MVP, Nestea are all very good v Z. Just didn't get it done today.
Seal has been a great player for a long time. Fantastic to see him really display that talent with almost another all kill. He has incredible decision making; you can tell it's not just some smart plays he came up with that are one hit wonder builds as we've seen in other GSTL stars who fail in the individual leagues.
Hopefully he gets over his nerves soon so we can see him in Code S.
Amazing to see for a NSH fanboy such as myself, would love to see NSH make it to vegas, i think one of their players could definitely win ipl 4 also if they do manage to get that far.
