That is the first tournament for Dota2... Imagine if Blizzard make a tournament to show off WoW2 and you can surpass that number easily.

There hasn't been a big Dota 2 tournament since The International. It's still in Beta.
So, It's only LoL that has more viewer than SC2 not entire ARTS scene right now. I don't think you should count the tournament that they show the game for the first time.
Of course it should be counted. It's the only really big Dota 2 tournament in terms of official organization and big prizes. And its viewers numbers have been out of reach for LoL, by a huge magnitude, even though LoL is not in Beta and most LoL tournaments are seriously supported by Riot directly.
It's common sense that the tournament you show the game for the first time will get huge amount of viewer because people want know what's the is like. It's just not fair to use it in comparistion.
Sorry, you used this argument multiple times, but it doesn't work. LoL had its first showing too, and apparently it didn't make 1.5 million viewers. The fact is that when Dota 2 tournament is seriously organized (which so far there's been only one such tournament) and it gets its Dota audience from China, its viewers are in the millions.
Anyway, you drew me too far away from my original post and even more from the topic of this thread. The fact is that MOBA games get more viewers than SC2; that's fine with me and not a reason for panic. SC2 is likely to outlive them anyway.

Warcraft 3 players switched and EU got big boost of new talent, NA got squat.
This game makes so little sense...Supernova slaughtered scv's over and over again with successful drops and successful banshees and then is way behind on supply...
